It's only Twitter right now, so I'm not sure how legit. Seems like a reputable poster, but who knows in the world of Internet. "Brandon Ingram Cafe au lait spots thought to be harmless Legius Syndrome may actually be Neurofibromatosis Type 1. Draft status in doubt. Medication to treat condition is on the NBA banned list of substances, and may cause draft stock to plummet. Do teams take chance? Do Lakers have time to research before draft? If not Ingram, then who do they select?"
tada has gone full cray cray But I like how this man thinks!! Just, not sure if serious. :Randallconfused:
This medical condition is something they should be aware... sirron... retweet it to your people in the organization...
hmm, i'm no doctor, but this description makes it seem like he'd already have had some more serious health troubles if this was the case.
Good idea, just did. I'm curious what medication would be on the banned list. Maybe it's a steroid that keeps symptoms in check if he has a minor form of it?
Wow even if just a malicious internet rumor with ulterior motive to lower his draft stock toward a later picking team, that sucks to have that put out right now 2 days prior. How would any team have time to research it or vet the information? How long would he or anyone have known about it. After all the tattoos, before?
sirron .... dammit..... you have introduced draft angst again into my life with this thing about a potentially serious skin condition with Ingram. So next two and a half days prior to the draft no more farting around with new gifs and such. You must get to the bottom of this and make sure Mitch and Ryan and Jim and Luke make the right decision.
I was just thinking about how if Philly shocks everyone and takes Ingram at #1, forcing the Lakers to take Simmons....it would entirely change the offseason gameplan for the Lakers. I think in this scenerio, if the Lakers end up with Simmons, to me that makes Randle available. There isn't enough playing time at the 4 for Randle/Simmons/Nance. With the rumor that the Lakers are trying to get another Top 5 pick (Rumor was they were shopping D'Angelo for this?), I think if the Lakers offered Randle to Phoenix for their #4 pick, they take it. They wouldn't be able to get #3 from the C Bags because it sounds like Philly is offering Okafor or Noel for #3 (So the 76ers can take Kris Dunn). At that point, I would think the best prospect for the Lakers at #4 would be Buddy Hield, who I think would be great in Coach Walton's system as well as with Simmons, you want as much perimeter shooters as possible. The Lakers would then have to take their chances in free agency to find a starting calibre SF (Barnes, Batum, Parson, Deng, Bazemore - I stay away from Barnes considering he will get 20mil+ from somebody, and he's not that good.) and Center. If at the end of summer we walk away with a lineup of: Russell(33)/Clarkson (15) Hield(33)/Clarkson (15) Batum / Allen Crabbe (I think the Lakers should try to get him regardless to come off the bench, he's restricted tho). Simmons/Nance Whiteside (I'd take my chances with Whiteside at a max (22mil/year) over Biyombo at 15mil/year)/Pachulia or Mahinmi I think a 3 guard rotation of Russell/Clarson/Hield would be really fun to have. That roster wouldn't make the playoffs in the West next season, but I think we would be right there with Minnesota as to contenders in 3-4 years, hinging on the development of our respective young prospects.
Damn that's why he has those ugly tattoos but if he has a sickness he should have selected better ones to cover them bylike the Undertaker's
I'm not seeing this anywhere, not on Google, not on Twitter, nowhere. I think a top 2 prospect having this would create news. Not even a search for "Brandon Ingram Legius syndrome" results in anything other than articles as to why he should be drafted #1. The only mention of this on Twitter isn't what I'd call a reputable source, unless you're looking for an expert on B0ron poop gifs I'm not getting the joke here.
I was going to post the other source if given permission, but I didn't have it. However, Jeanie just disputed it. I'll remove so it doesn't start anything. The LAST thing we need to do is draft a guy who won't play. That would be the biggest mistake in the history of Western Civilization.
You have a secret Twitter source that doesn't want his tweets to get major exposure? What are you guys talking about? Jeanie disputed this where, radio? She hasn't said anything on Twitter except she was gonna be on radio.
It was me lol, (Don't hate new account) but Dallas is the base of many player agents. A good friend of mine's wife sells/leases cars exclusively to pro athletes, and knows more than she should at times. I have to leave it at that.
I copied her on a message of the tweet, and got a response within minutes. I have never received a response before, so immediately took down the messages. Thought I was going to be the first one to break a major story, but if there's a chance it isn't true, totally irresponsible to leave it up. Internet spreads like wildfire.
I'm still incredibly confused about this. First you said this was on Twitter only, but the Twitter post was you. Then you said your source was a car dealer. Then you said you contacted Jeanie and she denied it. Glad she did so, are you able to share what she said or was it a general "not true"?
