    Meeks/det 2nd for lou
    Hawes/cha 2nd for lou
Id take either one....wouldn't mind taking on ross either but i do by think tor spittle give us 9th pick to do it and the 24th pick isnt enough compensation

    No thank you.

Lou is more valuable than two 2nd rounders, especially on that contract.

I don't value black hole offensive players like lou....the defense was horrid last yr and was even worse with lou on the floor. Jc can replicate lou production if hes moved to the bench if we either sign a pg or a sg

The Lakers value him though. They don't have an interest in trading him. A player like Lou who can get buckets and get to the line at will off the bench is actually very valuable and he's going to look great in the system next year.

I don't see that as "trying to trade him". Making someone available just means they're willing to listen on phone calls for him. The Kings aren't trying to trade Cousins and the Bulls probably aren't trying to trade Bulter, but they've been made available.

The Lakers aren't trying to trade Lou right now. They like Lou and view him as part of the future.

Can we change the title to say salary dump? I keep wanting to post pictures Byron Scott and poop.

He is in fact, the perfect dump.

i like lou more than meeks, so no to that.

i do like hawes as a dump candidate, though. luke might be able to utilize his unique skillset better than some of his other coaches have. then again, he's been given several chances...still, he's tall, can shoot and score a bit, and i think is a decent passer. one could do worse.

Lou stays. He's content being a 6th man and on that contract, that's a bargain.

I'm seriously wondering how we are still stuck with Nick Young though.

Even though cha took on salary for their pick, i still think they need to dump contracts. So id still offer take hawes and 17' lotto protected 1st.

I wouldn't. Even a lotto protected deal is too much for a backup in a loaded draft.

I may have misread it, but I think it would be us taking the Hornets pick in exchange for accepting the salary. Not our pick. Sort of like the Jeremy Lin deal.

A salary dump is looking more and more likely. I just don't see us having enough to entice players yet. Of the players we have signed and are expected to resign, our current average age is 22 years old.

Hawes is a good fit, and he would help us a good deal. We could still add a starting center, starting wing, and add a backup G.

Hawes would be redundant now with Zubats. We need a starting 5 like Horford or Biyombo. Backups are already set with Tarik Black and Bats.
