    Yeah, that seems way rushed.

Btw, I have never read the WD comic and had no clue about Eugene. I thought it was a cool story development. I also liked the Abraham backstory material on his family from this episode.

A little slow tonight, but the show had its moments, like I thought the scene where Darryl and Carol were trapped in the van and they landed on the ground was good, but then when all the walkers started raining down on the van it became fantastic. Great little cherry on top of that scene.

A slow episode indeed but still pretty good. I like these episodes where they just focus on a small group within the bigger group, gives good character development even though Carol and Daryl don't need it.

Judging from the preview for next weeks episode, it looks to be action packed.

I think that was a preview for the last two episodes of the season combined.

Predictable episode with them running into Noah, except, I thought Carol got caught on purpose. Threw me off when the Police just ran her over. Guess that's their "we healed you, you owe us" deal in the hospital.

How do you not hear the engine of a car rushing towards you?

Hmm...when I think about it, could Noah be a rat/mole?

Make friends with the new victim (Beth). Attempt an "escape" from the hospital. He makes it out but Beth get's caught? Why is Noah so close to the hospital if he was looking to escape? Why did he tell them to run outside when the car was clearly coming that way?

I have a strange feeling that Noah is trying to lure Daryl and the rest of the group to the hospital, but Noah doesn't know the crazy that is Rick.

I don't think Noah is a rat at all, I don't think the hospital group knows Beth is in a group and no reason to lure them there.
Maybe he was scavenging the city for supplies before he leaves?

But yeah, thought Carol faked her injury to help Beth from the inside but man Carol got messed up this episode.

How does nobody ever smell the zombies before seeing them?

I've always thought zombies should not be able to sneak up on you very easily with how bad they must reek, especially a heard of them.

The humans' sense of smell is probably messed up from their own stink.

How did that van land right side up when it should have flipped on its roof?

The smell of a dead animal is unmistakable. The people that are alive wouldn't smell ANYTHING like how bad the zombies must smell

Maybe the smell is now so strong it's basically constant? There must be dozens of zombies per square mile. In close quarters, maybe the smell is always around so it's hard to distinguish when you're getting close to one?

I liked the episode. It was a little obvious that Carol would have that basic character arc, but it was certainly emotional seeing the child zombie and remembering what she went through. It was also cool to see Daryl getting close to that darker side but not crossing over.

I doubt Noah is a mole. I think he was trying to stick around to bust Beth out somehow. It's going to be fun watching Rick and company tear that place down.

That makes sense in an area infested with zombies, but when they're in a town where they see no zombies and go into a store, they should immediately know if there's a dead body in there, whether it's a walker, or it's really dead. They shouldn't be surprised when one jumps out from around the corner. They should know something's dead in there immediately because there's no mistaking the smell, and I can't believe that they smell it everywhere they go. As bad as a dead body smells, the world is huge and the smell wouldn't be everywhere, but you'd smell it in a small space.... like a store.

will a dead(er?) Walker smell too? Maybe they do smell it but they don't know if it's alive or dead. Like we say in the episode, Carol made noise when she was checking out a store to draw any Walker out.

Well they're all rotting, so I would guess they all smell the same, like dead flesh.

I definitely expected a bit more out of this episode. I'm confident they'll have a great finale, but the first half of this season has been pretty inconsistent after such a great start.
