He should stick to jumpers. No more rolling to the basket, he couldn't finish one around the rim if he was wide open.
He seems to get open looks at the rim with ease off his ball movement; I was thrilled by that during preseason, but he can't finish. It's ridiculously bothersome. Maybe we can combine him and Wes into two players - one who can't shoot, can't move, can't defend, and doesn't care - and one who streaks to the hoop with great athleticism and finishes, has a smooth jumper. We'll just cut the garbage one.
You might be onto something. We've mapped the genome. We could use a 3d printer to produce them cheaply too.
Mark Medina@MarkG_Medina · 11m11 minutes ago Byron Scott said he thought the lack of effort mostly applied to the bigs tonight. He said that hasn't always applied to every game Mark Medina@MarkG_Medina · 3m3 minutes ago I told Carlos Boozer that Byron faulted Lakers effort, particularly on bigs. Carlos:"It's not just the bigs." Mark Medina@MarkG_Medina · 1m1 minute ago Carlos Boozer: "From the coaching staff to players, we all have to do a better job."
Mark Medina @MarkG_Medina · 2h 2 hours ago Carlos Boozer:"A lot of times we run a set. But Kobe is extremely aggressive. We try to get it off the glass. But we have to find a balance"
Putting blame on everyone else. Even if it wasnt your fault, that is not how you respond to those type of questions, especially when we know damn well he has his share of personal eff ups. Very mature. Very team like Carlos.
If Kobe was really aggressive he would kick your a@@ every time you bumble klutz your way out of giving him an assist. Actually secretly pleased Boozer is discussing this as this may start to change things rather than keeping them the same.
Maybe he got told he wont be starting next game already or minutes will be reduced with wanting to see what Davis and Kelly have with further expanded minutes?
I know we didnt have to pay a lot, but I didnt like him coming here and as you can imagine I'm already tired of his lack/non-existent defense. Can't wait till next year when he won't be back.
Kelly won't be providing any minutes for quite some time now so I doubt it had to do with him. But I'd love to see Davis inserted as a starter. That's the move I've been waiting for. Let Booz be the scorer off the bench. It's a better role for him right now. The starting unit's defense is just horrendous with him and Wes in together. Wes might even improve if Davis is in there. Who knows?
Yeah he definitely needs to get benched. Im honestly confident in Sacre giving us some relief minutes for Hill.
Im all for benching Boozer (hell, since Randle is out i wouldn't mind not seeing him at all). As for Sacre... onle time he should see a game time action is in a blowouts. Dude is a scrub.
Well if we started Hill, wed need someone to take on the back up minutes, if he comes off the bench and theres 2-3 other scoring "threats", you dont think think he can hold down his own on D? Every time I watch him play I think he does a solid job to the best of his ability on defense, actually I can sort of argue has good fundamentals/body positioning/foot work. Hes not a shot blocker, but one on one against someone, unless he gets called for a foul, every time I watch the other player usually fights for a shot which im more than happy with. Just my opinion. Again, wed only need him for 15 minutes give or take IF Hill starts. Just imagine how intimidating other teams will be with Boozer and Sacre playing side by side, the two NBA giantcholo look a likes lol.
He's not allowed to be traded this year. We are stuck with him. 3.5 million could have been spent elsewhere, but nope, we get Boozer and the FO trying to sell us on the plan of 2015, 2016, etc.
