IMO he should be our #1 FA target (at least in the guard/SF category), but I fear we will waste time on Durant.

I agree. I'm not down on Clarkson, but I think there is a lower ceiling to his game, given what he's shown us so far.

A serious injury can take out any athlete. But in the case of Clarkson, there is a scenario where I see a just few nagging injuries altering his game greatly going down the line. Jordan is of course still young, but I think he relies on recklessly attacking the cup too often. Hope he's working on his shot

And that brings me to... I wish Derozan could shoot the 3 ball! Great stuff we're watching in the ECF. If that were the case I wouldn't hesitate paying DD, and I would jump off the H-Barnes/Ingram handcuff bandwagon. And I'll jump on the Brandon-Ingram-is-a-Durant-PG13-hybrid bandwagon, lol

Its going to take a check of a recruiting effort to acquire DDR. Unless the Raps don't pay him the max, I think he stays a d they move heaven and earth to keep him in a Raptors uniform, IMO.

At this point we have about as much of a chance at Durant then we do DeRozan. Why the hell would he leave? He's in a crap conference on a team that's gonna have a legit shot to contend again next season. Going to a rebuilding team that makee no sense.

I tend to agree. Even if everything goes as well as we can realistically expect with our kids, DeRozan will be 30 when they are ready to compete. If you're DeRozan, do you want to wait that long while you can play deep into the playoffs in a weakened East just so you can be close to home?

Biyombo has looked like the second coming of Ben Wallace. Sign him up Mitch!

How did Biyombo all of a sudden become good? I've always thought of him as a scrub ever since he got drafted.

The good thing is we should definitely be able to get Biyumbo. Toronto can't have both and obviously they're gonna choose the All Star in DeRozan. Biyumbo has been excellent all playoffs. He's rebounding at a high rate, he's switching on pick and rolls and doing a great job, blocking shots, diving hard to the rim, he's been a big reason why Cleveland has had to rely on their three point shot so much.

Biyombo probably isn't a head case either.

Sorry, but why are people here talking about LeBron coming to the Lakers? Did I miss something?

I made a joke about LeBron signing here since we aren't getting Kevin Durant anymore after they beat the Warriors then Cavs in the Finals and I guess everyone just ran with it. Hopefully he doesn't even make it out of the ECF.

Here's what I do: Send a max offer day one to Biyombo (for 2 or 3 years + a team option).

Then once he takes it and Toronto is forced to let him walk...

You offer ANOTHER max to DeRozan and say "what good is staying there? Biyombo already left!" and hope he bites.

Let's not act like there's no summer in Toronto. The heat and humidity are PITA though ;).
