Rumor: Philly offering Okafor for our pick.

I'd do it. If he was in this draft, he's the #1 pick.

Whoa. That's a new wrinkle if true. Goes back to searching for Okafor giant hand photos. Almost as much fun as tank pics. Last year. Not this year. eff you Boron .... you're lucky.

Oh BTW, who's in charge of calling this off now that we kept the pick?

Never wanted him and I'd rather have Ingram.

As the biggest Okafor supporter here, I'm passing. I love the kind of game Okafor has, but it doesn't fit what we're doing here. Ingram and Simmons can fit perfectly fine with what we want.

Hmmm... Tempting but Ingram would be too good to pass up if he was available at 2. This crew needs would really need a player who can shoot from the perimeter. Speculation already about the 70Centers picking up Simmons.

Only trading the pick for a stud like Butler or PG13.

If Philly is offering Okafor for #2, that is just not even CLOSE to enough. They need to be offering Okafor + taking the protection off next year's pick for our 2nd pick.

Not enough for me, that's this year's #2 pick for last year's #3, possibly last year's 4th best player in the draft. Ingram's and Simmons' seem more valuable in today's league than Okafor's. Athletic, long, versatile players that can handle the ball, play inside and out, as opposed to lumbering bigs. They'd have to offer Okafor plus give us our pick back next season for starters for me to even get interested. I don't like the sound of it at all though, they get Simmons and Ingram, we get Russ and Okafor. They get the best 2 players by a mile in this draft, we get the 2nd, and 4th best from last, don't like the sound of helping those losers like that.

Pass, Ingram is a better fit for what we are trying to implement here.

I think we lose next year's pick no matter what. If we're in the lottery next year we need to clean house.

I think it's pretty likely we end up in the lottery, but hopefully towards the back end of it. I could see our pick being in the early teens or something like that. As much as I think this upcoming season is going to be fun and interesting, I still don't expect us to win many more games than 35 or so.

    So Russ filming streetfights? Pass.

Honestly there'd be too much character and immaturity issues. We have our hands full already.
