What is so special about Wall and Beal ? Never understood the "hype" about these 2

Wizards are not a good choice

Yeah, I think those two are a bit over hyped as well. They're good players, but I don't see that team one player away from contention.

I've been saying derozan/horford for months. After these playoffs I gotta change that to Barnes/horford.

Not even just these playoffs. Demar has always frozen up in the big moments in the playoffs.

welp. safe to say that KD is definitely not coming here if they knock out the Spurs and make the WCF. I thought that KD getting crushed by the Spurs would make him think twice about re-signing in OKC....but man, OKC is really showing KD that his best chance of winning is right there in OKC. The chances of him leaving were ALREADY slim to none, but if they beat SA...I would say that there's a 0% chance he comes to LA even if we stockpiled Paul George and Jimmy Butler somehow.

Also, saw the graphic of the Kings saying they will not trade DMC. They could be just saying that to pump up his value, but I really believe they're keeping him. Joerger wouldn't take this job without Cousins being there and I think Joerger is a really really good coach that will bring out the best in DMC just like Mike Malone did. I'm kinda pissed that the Kings got such a good coach.....was hoping they'd end up with Mark Jackson or Blatt or some guy that was disrespected somewhere else....but instead they got a really good coach...a players coach....and a coach that got a very battered Grizzlies team to the playoffs...Ugh. I wanted to rip the Kings off in a trade for Cousins and now I don't see that happening.

Thank you Vlade. Now we can focus on Butler/George as trade targets.

Dwight Howard just said Steph Curry is offensively better than Michael Jordan. Oh Dwight.

    :dwightcrying:

Or I guess includes Kobe Bryant who offensively in his prime was better than Jordan. Had more polished weapons. Not debatable. Kobe used to shoot the long ball for clutch under even more duress (ask Portland about those 2 daggers) back in the day. STFU Dwight!! Glad Shaq clowned you while you were sitting in his seat yesterday. You're not worthy success wise in the league to even pick up his jock. Forget about carrying it.

Add that to the fact that Westbrook is giving the Spurs fits. Averaging almost a triple double 24.6/10.2/7.2 while not shooting great this series he is still a nightmare. Same averages during the season. Entering his prime. Why the hell would Durant leave him for anything anyone is proposing? They overpayed Kantor but that contract won't look like much next season they can go over the cap some.

I keep reading this, ever since he took over for hollins...but I don't see the evidence. he'll have a chance to prove it in sac, though. I was underwhelmed with joerger in Memphis.

and as talented as cousins is, I'm ok with not getting him, especially given his likely pricetag. just as easily as he could be the mvp next year, he could also be available in a rasheed Wallace-type firesale trade. it's that volatile. I don't want to sell the house for him when he might be cheaper later.

Jimmy Butler is representing the Bulls at the Draft, so they are trying to give him some love and are likely intending to keep him.

With games like this (heat/raptors), biyombo's price goes up and up and up.

Out of the 4 Laker prospects in this series, rank them in order in which you want them in purple and gold:
    Whiteside, Deng, DD, Biyombo

I'll still take Derozan. Biyombo earning a big paycheck right now. I'm still not thrilled about the biomechanics in his knees. I assumed his knock-knees were due to weakness in his hips and butt, but it's possible he's just built that way. Still not great, but more palatable.

I'll take any talent. I'm not complaining. Just give me something worthwhile to watch, please.

Biyombo just priced himself out of my comfort range for him. Why did Pincus need to put an exclamation point after, "you haven't been paying attention!" Why you gotta yell at us bro?

We should have locked up BizMack last year when we had a chance. He was my #1 choice over DeAndre. Oh well...

Any opinion shift on DeRozan tonight after he finally had a good game? 34 points, 50% shooting, 1-1 on threes. I flip flop every day on him, I have no idea what to make of him. He's clearly talented, but he seems to be a volume shooter/scorer, regular season only player. I just don't know, his max is kind of ridiculous for his playoff production up until this one game.
