Hiring the first woman president is meaningless if she's a horrible president.

And yes the system is completely a** backwards. It's been rigged in a way so that the electoral vote no longer matters. What we all want isn't even what we get.

It might sound scary, but revolution isn't far away in my opinion.

Trump is the best thing that could ever happen to Hillary.

Trump is so transparently absurd, that so many people I know aren't watching Hillary's deceit with as keen of an eye and will vote for her by default. No one cares that Hillary "misspoke" about coal miners (aka flip flopped her view within a week as she moved to different states) because they're still angry about the crazy stuff Trump says (and it's all the media talks about).

I don't believe a single word Hillary says.

Americans being forced to embrace one of these two as President is going to shake this country to the ground. I have to believe that.

I still don't know anyone who wants either of those two as President. Everyone I know says they'd prefer Sanders over those two. Even if he presents his own set of issues that I disagree with, I'd probably prefer him to those two clowns.

Somehow the people want Sanders, but the system doesn't listen to that. Doesn't that sound wrong?

Our own election here is on Monday, we have five candidates for President. No electoral college, just old fashion plurality of votes. Of course, like in the States we also hope for the lesser evil to win. It's all the same all over the World.

The lesser of 5 evils at least sounds like a better deal than what we're getting.

    Plot Twist!!

It’s Happening: Democratic Party Officials to Vote on Eliminating Superdelegates
    Nathan Wellman | May 5, 2016FacebookTwitter

Maine Democrats are taking the first step towards eliminating the massively unpopular superdelegates at this weekend’s state convention with a move that could result in an all-out brawl between the Clinton and Sanders presidential campaigns, according to Bangor Daily News.

Portland state Representative Diane Russell has introduced an amendment that would require superdelegates to be distributed in proportion to the state’s caucus results. As of now, superdelegates are permitted to go against the will of their voters and allot their points to whomever they please.

This proposal comes in the wake of public outcry after Sanders received nearly double the votes of Hillary Clinton in the state’s caucus (64%-35%), but only 1 of the 5 available superdelegates. Clinton has secured three of the other Maine superdelegate endorsements, with one still remaining undeclared.

“If you’re representing the state of Maine as a superdelegate, you should be going the way of the voters,” said National Committeeman Troy Jackson, the only Maine superdelegate to vote for Sanders. “The voters of the Democratic Party told us very much who they wanted.”

Rep. Russell agrees. “We have a system of government where you have one person, one vote, by and large,” she said. “The primary system is not when that happens. And I think that we need to start moving toward a system that’s more fair, that’s more democratic, and more reflective of the popular vote.”

While this amendment will include a “strong suggestion” that this year’s superdelegates vote in accordance with the caucus results, it won’t become binding until 2020.

Russell hasn’t officially said that she supports an immediate change “because it could put Maine out of compliance with rules set by the Democratic National Committee.”

However, the passage of this amendment could be enough to spark a floor fight between supporters of Sanders and Clinton in a contested national convention. Ironically, Clinton’s maligned superdelegate support may soon prove to become her greatest political vulnerability."

Yeah after they are used to elect Hillary, she'll want to destroy them so she can't be taken down by them.

It's a farce. This whole thing is a farce.

Public consensus should have had us picking between probably Kasich and Sanders. Two stand-up guys who have worked their way through the system mostly honorably and have two different opinions on where the country should go.

Now we're having to pick between a j****** and a snake. Yikes.

Hillary either indicted, or her top aids indicted. Corruption and voter fraud charges against the DNC. Votes to eliminate super-delegates. Sanders IMO is likely to win California since he keeps winning northern states that have primaries instead of caucuses. Likely, many many more crazed Sanders supporters at the DNC Convention than Hillary supporters. And the fact that Sanders beats Trump in every poll conducted.

I know you guys don't believe, but this might be coming to a head for the perfect storm to get Bernie the nomination.

"FBI Confirms They Will Question Hillary Clinton
    Tom Cahill | May 5, 2016FacebookTwitter

FBI officials have confirmed that Hillary Clinton will be interviewed about her use of a private email server, possibly before the California primary.

CNN reported Thursday evening that the Federal Bureau of Investigation interviewed top Clinton aide Huma Abedin over the server, along with other senior aides, some more than once. While investigators confirmed that Clinton herself would be interviewed, no official date has been announced.

Bryan Pagliano, who originally built Clinton’s private server, has agreed to provide testimony to the Department of Justice in exchange for legal immunity.

FBI officials stated they had yet to procure sufficient evidence that any laws were willfully broken, though the investigation is still ongoing.

As of May 5, the investigation is still limited to Clinton’s handling of classified information on her private email server, and the security of the server itself. While the former Secretary of State has cooperated with federal authorities in making thousands of emails public, 22 of the emails in her private server were classified as “top secret” and deemed too sensitive to national security to release to the general public.

The announcement of the upcoming interview comes just a day after NBC published its interview of Romanian hacker Marcel Lehel Lazar, who goes by the moniker “Guccifer.” He claimed that he not only successfully hacked into the former Secretary of State’s server, but that as many as ten other hackers had penetrated its security as well.

Sources with the FBI, however, deny that any breach took place."

If Hillary tweeted that, I'd be upset at her for pandering. When Trump does it, I just find it hilarious.

How the DNC Just Rigged the National Convention to Destroy Bernie Sanders
    Zach Cartwright | May 6, 2016FacebookTwitter

DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz is being called out once again by Bernie Sanders, who wrote a personally signed letter to Wasserman Schultz saying that she’s tipping the scales for Hillary Clinton’s benefit.

At the DNC’s national convention in July, there are three standing committees: Rules, Credentials, and the party platform’s Drafting committee.

As the New York Times previously reported, Schultz made sure the standing committees were chaired by prominent superdelegates supporting Clinton and that those appointed to serve on the committee were favorable to the former Secretary of State.

For example, Connecticut Governor Dannel Malloy is co-chair of the platform committee, and former U.S. Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.) is co-chair of the rules committee. Sanders referred in his letter to both Malloy and Frank as “aggressive attack surrogates” due to outspoken comments they’ve made on the campaign trail.

Under the party’s rules, the DNC chair has the power to appoint 25 at-large executive committee members to each committee. Out of the 45 names Sen. Sanders submitted, Wasserman Schultz only appointed three, none of whom are serving on the rules committee, which is arguably the most important.

In his blistering letter to Wasserman Schultz, he accuses her of playing a disproportionate role in her appointments. Sen. Sanders suggested that both his campaign and Clinton’s campaign should have a bigger say in who gets appointed to each committee.

“In our conversation, you told me with respect to the platform Drafting Committee that you would consider allowing each campaign to submit ten names from which you would choose four from each and then you would add an additional seven… I believe that each campaign should choose seven members to serve on the Drafting Committee. The fifteenth member would be a chair who would be jointly picked by the two campaigns. This process will ensure that all the standing committees reflect the full range of views of voters who have participated in the Democratic nominating contests.”

Sanders has promised that he’ll use his delegates to make the party platform more progressive if Schultz doesn’t meet his demands. However, the rigged appointment process is just the latest in the litany of valid complaints from Bernie Sanders supporters that the Democratic National Committee has been unfairly stacking the process since the start of the campaign.

Both the Hillary Clinton campaign and the national Democratic Party have expressed little interest in accommodating the demands of Bernie Sanders supporters. The Hill recently reported, the Clinton campaign has already promised to resist the efforts of Bernie Sanders delegates to incorporate Sanders’ progressive policy platforms, like tuition-free public colleges and universal healthcare, into the Democratic Party platform.

In fact, Clinton is appealing to the Bush family’s donors and moderate Republicans, rather than pivoting to bring in the legions of Bernie Sanders supporters she needs to win the general election. Barring a miracle, it seems unlikely the Democratic Party is willing to move left and is instead banking on prevailing in November by bringing in establishment Republicans.

This year’s Democratic National Convention will take place in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, from July 25 to July 28.

^^^ Both parties (DNC and GOP) hate Bernie and Trump. They're outsiders. They'll do all the can to undermine and sabotage them.

What's gonna be funny is, many from the Left will vote R and many on the Right will vote Dem. Simply out of disgust.
