This is my most optimistic guess for the next 10 games. Vs SAS (L) Vs GSW (L) @ ATL (Toss up but I'll choose W) @ HOU (L) @ DAL (L) Vs DEN (W) Vs MEM (W) Vs MIN (W) Vs TOR (L) @ DET (W)
By Pythagorean Win%, the Lakers are trending 35 wins right now, but just using their differential from the last 4 games (plus the 0-4 start), they're trending 41. BOOM. And that's without the Swagster.
It's a comfort knowing that all but one of our losses have come against last year's playoffs teams and for the most part we have competed. I really think we have a chance to finally gain some traction with the next ten games. I'll be more encouraged if we are able to hang with the champs tonight. Also, hopefully Kobe can get an efficient 40 tonight since the game is on ESPN.
Im hoping goes off too so people can shut their mouths and respect what the man is doing with the circumstances we have going on 8 games into this season. But yeah my man, we were making very good progress before the Pelicans second half. People acting like the world is over like we had legit championship hopes. Unfortunately its not, so we need to make the most out of seeing what we have in certain players and further experimenting(expanding playbook, further player/scheme adjustments as season goes along).
1. Clarkson looked good. I'd like to see him play some more. 2. For the second time this season, we held a team to under 100 points.
Clarkson got some more run than normal. Swag returns on Tuesday. Practice tomorrow. Looking forward to hearing him speak after practice
Didnt get to watch. If Clarkson emerges, thatd be so effing awesome for either a future starter or nice trade bait. Looked like Boozer had a good scoring game, any improvement on his D? Lin also according to the box score looked like he had a solid game? Were Hill and Davis able to hold up at all against their bigs? Kelly alright in his limited action?
I get more optimistic about a top 3 pick every time we play. Swaggy should be back soon. Thats about it for me as far as optimism right now.
I think he pushes us from a 15 to 20 win team to a 20 to 25 win team. That should still put us in range for a top 5 pick.
I'm optimistic Kobe will still be suiting up in February when LA comes to Orlando so I can see him play again.
