I wouldnt Mind Towns at all neither.. he just looks like he needs 2-3 years and give or take about 15-20 lbs of muscle to be NBA effective IMO.

Towns is a nice prospect. From the couple of games I have seen he doesn't look as ready to contribute as Okafor or Mudiay.

Our defense continues at its historically terrible rate / literally the statistically worst defensive team of all-time.

The highlight of the whole game was seeing the interaction between Kobe and Shaq again. That was cool

You know it is bad when Kobe gets along better with Shaq than he does with his current teammates.

I still can't get over the fact that we suck so bad and this early. Like literally the 1st game into the season. Randall's injury really hurt this team

Our relative defensive rating somehow managed to get worse. We are now at +12.1.

This rating is now an entire 50% worse than the previous worst rating in NBA history.

Bad defense would be an improvement for this team. The Bulls are probably laughing at us for picking up Boozer.

    Starters....

    Clarkson / Kobe / Young / Davis / Hill

    Bench....

    Lin / Henry / Weasley / Snoozer / Sacre

When Ellington and Kelly come back.....

    Lin / Ellington / Kelly / Snoozer / Sacre

    Reasoning

1.) JC would fit right in for his spot up shooting and defense

2.) Best players starting at SF/PF so we aren't in a hole anymore to start games. More defense, shooting and rebounding as well.

3.) Lin controls a wide open offense off the bench with shooters. Defense might be lacking, but it's the bench and we aren't that good anyway.

4.) Price has no role on this team anymore to be honest. Contending yes, but we are 1-9 with plenty more losses coming. Let the young guys play.

Call up Manny Harris and Roscoe Smith towards the deadline and sit Weasley/Snoozer.

Right now this team is awful and needs some change. MDA had a better defense for crying out loud. We aren't even running and gunning and still gave up 135.

I don't see us passing on Okafor to take Towns. The limited amount I've seen shows Okafor to be better now, project better down the road, and has a very high ceiling. Towns is a good second, but he's still second in my eyes. Mudiay might be first, but I could see the big men coming on strong too.

If we got Mudiay and Greg Monroe or maybe Dragic and Okafor this summer, this horrible horrible season might be worth it.

The season is still very early, but I am surprised anyone would rank Towns over Okafor. Okafor just looks to be the better player in every area outside of maybe shot blocking (although he is certainly no slouch on the defensive end).

Remember when D'antoni had the audacity to demand a 2yr extension? The Lakers FO was not going to fire him for this season, but simply let him be the scapegoat for another disastrous year. He said screw that, you guys want me to stay for this crap again, then you pay me.They refused as he knew they would, and he resigned. Why do you think it took so long for them to sign a coach? Look at this team, it's garbage, even if they wouldn't of lost Randle and Young they were going to suck, and now the team is dividing, quitting with the coach losing control of the locker room. Yeah Bryant is part of the problem, but not all of it. The drama is only starting, and I believe Bryant will ask to be traded before long. Then we will see the ball move, with the remaining cast of characters filling their stat sheets, defense continue to be historic in the wrong way, and loss after loss after loss, I feel for the season ticket holders, not only will they not want to go, but they will be unable to sell their overpriced seats unless discounted to half their value.
There I feel better now lol....top 3 pick here we come....and those 3 guys on top of the list look real good, plus that late 1st rounder from Houston...could end up being a guy like Kaminsky form Wisc.

But this would make sense, things that make sense unfortunately dont always happen :( . Hawks have a decent team, if they cant show up tonight though and get a W then we might have to put this website out of order a for the night or theres going to be sad, sad puppies around lol.

They will be somewhere in the 20s, but the Houston Rockets have had the second easiest schedule so far (arguably the easiest). They played Philly twice, Wolves without Rubio, Spurs without Duncan/Ginobili, Thunder without have their cast, and...as much as it pains me to say this...us.

I think Ariza is a nice fit on that team because he's a better defender than Parsons, but they'll start losing soon.

Lakers FO offered Pau a 3 year / 30 million dollar deal with a no trade clause after trying to get rid of him for 3 years. Thank you Pau for turning it down.

He took a 8 mil pay cut + loss of a no-trade clause not to mention having to move from a beautiful climate similar to what he is used to in Barcelona to that windy, cold city. Though granted, CHI's a better team but by no means a guaranteed champ.

All I can say is Pau knew a storm was coming in LA.

As I said long time ago -- he needed a change of scenery. And he knew it too. Now, he doesn't look like his old self, but he plays better then he did for us. Which is OK, Pau is a nice guy and I wish him all the best.
