Good post. Also Clark fills the void of being able to pick and roll(Something Rose wouldve brought),another bonus of bringing the ball up.

So Caruso is actually on the Lakers.com roster. Guess this is our roster for now:

    1 - Ball/Ennis/Caruso
    2 - Pope/Clarkson/Hart
    3 - Ingram/Kuzma/Brewer
    4 - Randle/Nance/Deng
    5 - Lopez/Zubac/Bryant

    Ball/Ennis
    KCP/JC/Hart
    Ingram/Brewer/Deng
    Randle/Nance/Kuzma
    Lopez/Zubac

Caruso on two-way contract. Dozier and Bryant contract/signing unclear.

You've been unaware of all the (butt) jokes flying the last couple of hours?

I now curse the day that autocorrect ever happened to whoever that was. Just when we had started to get away from poop, up comes blood on muscle shirts and butt jokes. Is this a Laker forum or a late 90's Blink-182 concert?

So the depth chart now ought to be:

    Lonzo (28)/Ennis (15)/Clarkson (5)
    Pope (28)/Clarkson (20)
    Ingram (28)/ Brewer (20)
    Randle (28)/ Deng (20)
    Lopez (28)/ Nance (20)

Kuzma can replace Deng, but for now I'm trying to rebuild the guy's value even a little bit from rock bottom.

Zubac gets minutes when teams go big off the bench. I don't expect Hart or Bryant to factor in much at all this year. Once Clarkson is moved, we could see more Hart depending on what the return is.

I agree with this general line of thinking, but I think more guys are going to play more versatile positions.

    Lonzo (28)/Clarkson (15)/Ennis (5)
    Pope (28)/Clarkson (10)/Brewer (10)
    Ingram (28)/ Deng (10)/Brewer (5)/Kuzma (5)
    Randle (28)/ Deng (10)/Nance (5)/Kuzma (5)
    Lopez (28)/Zu (10)/Nance (5)/Randle (5)

I'm hoping for a tighter rotation, maybe not early on but definitely after the Allstar break. We've had a rather large roster revamp and need to experiment a little but I want the kids (especially the more promising ones) to play 30+ mins. We won't be tanking and we need to showcase Ball and Ingram to future free agents.

I'm against slowing down Kuzmas development for Brewer and Deng. Ride the hot hand and see what happens.

He has a chance to earn those minutes in training camp.

I hope Josh Hart gets some minutes. He is a 4 year college player, should be able to contribute on both sides on the floor.

injury in sl was tough for us fans, as we didn't get a great look. i'm sure he'll get his shot in camp. but he's got kcp, clarkson, and brewer ahead of him in the sg rotation right now. i think it's a developmental year, barring trade or injury.

I want to win as many games as possible, so I think our strongest rotation at the moment is something like:

    Lonzo (32)/Clarkson (16)
    Pope (34)/Clarkson (8)/Brewer (6)
    Ingram (32)/ Brewer (16)
    Randle (32)/ Deng or Kuzma (12)/Nance (4)
    Lopez (30)/Nance (18)

I'd like to tighten our rotation a bit and have our best players play the bulk of the minutes - our team is young and they can handle the mins.

We can really try to develop the good prospects this year as much as possible - Lonzo, Ingram, Randle, Clarkson and Nance. At the same time in training camp, see which one of Kuzma and Deng is better suited to start the season in that PF backup spot. Regarding the other new guys, Bryant and Hart, let them get some burn in the G league.

I'm hoping Lonzo, Pope, Ingram, Kuzma and Lopez all shoot above league average from 3. Brewer is notoriously bad from 3, Nance and Randle are shockers as well. That leaves Clarkson and Deng that could hopefully shoot league average.

We have some positive defenders in Pope, Brewer, Ingram and Nance. I'm hoping Lonzo, Lopez and Deng/Kuzma can be average. Which leaves Randle and Clarkson, who both have the athleticism but haven't shown the ability (effort, desire, IQ? I dunno what their problem is) to be positive defenders. We could probably play a unit of Pope, Brewer, Ingram, Randle and Nance to try and get a stop if we really needed one. It's a nice unit that can switch effectively and give some effort.

I think the bench will have to just try and lock down defensively and get out on the break. Regardless we should be staggering mins so various players in the starting unit and bench play together to alleviate spacing issues.

Stop propping up your Dad, Sven...that's 12 minutes wasted if he's not wiping floors and passing towels and cups of water to players
