Ok, the regular season is upon us. How many wins will we total in the regular season? Are you: Catastrophist / Alarmist / Pessimist / Realist / Optimist / Idealist? Catastrophist: 0-10 wins Alarmist: 10-20 wins Pessimist: 20-30 wins Realist: 30-40 wins Optimist: 40-45 wins Idealist: anything over 45 wins My number is 32 which qualifies me as a Realist. The poster with the most accurate prediction will win....... my undying admiration!
66-16. Sweep the Floppers in Round 1. Beat the Spurs in 6 in the West Semi's. Beat the Warriors in 7 in the West Finals. Take down the Kang in five in the Finals. Timofey Mozgov cements his legacy as the best big man in Lakers history with a dominant performance with averages of 34 and 17.
Last season: 17-65 Good coach +10 wins Player development +5 wins Solid vet presence +5 wins Total - 37 wins
Yes a lot of people are on record already here: http://lakersball.com/threads/win-total-next-season.1514/
I totally forgot about that thread. Thanks for reminding me. Oh well, maybe some have a different estimate since then.
We have Luke, our guys are older and more experienced now, Ingram might surprise here and there, Young looks like he wants to actually play basketball. I will double the last years win total, so 34. Yup, seems legit. Honestly, I'd be OK with 30-34 and good player development. We're not winnig 40, no way.
I'm an optimist at heart, but I gotta be a realist for now. 34 wins is my mark. If we get 40, I'll be ecstatic.
