Because we now have arguably the best or at worst top 3 best young core. We're making strides. It could be worse.

don't get how anyone could think that things would improve under jim and mitch

jim never had any idea what he was doing and today's NBA has just flown over mitch's head. his time as GM had run its course

I can't believe people are upset about this. I have been waiting for this day for over ten years. I'm overjoyed. The LAST thing I wanted was Jim and Mitch (of Mosgov contract fame) trying to do some lousy hail-Mary deal to keep their jobs at the deadline. This is the best move Jeanie has ever made and it was long overdue. Such a no-brainer.

Man, such a happy day. I'm euphoric.

Easily. For example they give away our entire young core for a couple of players, they draft poorly where Mitch has drafted very well, especially in the 2nd round. I'm glad Jim is gone, but Mitch is not an easy GM to replace, he was very good.

I'm not sure what you're saying - because I don't think McDermott is better than Randle, and I'm fairly unimpressed with Randle.

wouldn't mind him as some kind of advisor or consultant

he's too old for the GM position or any other position of power. we need a long term solution
