    Not to be mean, maybe he’s got a genetic condition, and hell I could stand to lose 50lb myself, but I can’t take my eyes off that neck wattle. It’s almost hypnotic in its jiggling, like a lava lamp.

    Wow...that bad? Only see the dude when he's sitting down.

    2018? -> Ball + James + George + Randle + Lopez
    or
    2019? -> Ball + Leonard + Ingram + Randle + Lopez(?)

    So many possible scenarios the next two seasons... We can't sit on our duffs waiting out The Dubs. Them boys have at least another two, three really good years going. Maybe even four.

    That was a little mean of me.

    But I still have a hard time respecting Windhorst. He has built his career by being ESPN's lapdog for LeBron coverage. He's a good enough reporter and his insight is helpful because he is so close to Lebron. I shouldn't be so mean.

    Personally I pick your 2018 team gcc. We could be back in the WCF in a heartbeat.

    Not body shaming at all...not my intent. Hill just pops into my head every time. If someone carries more but is really healthy and happy then no reason for judgement. Hell, I don't see a neck in Windhorst.

    I agree that it could be a predisposed trait.

    The 2019 scenario is the current fall-back if we fan out this offseason even if some are confident that we can land the 2018 targets.

    I am supremely confident that we can get George. I think coming home makes a tremendous amount of sense for him in just about every way. Given how badly the Thunder flamed out, there's an argument that with him we could be a better team potentially than he could have with the Thunder. Certainly we offer greater opportunity in every other way.

    Ball - George - Ingram - Randle - Lopez. 45 - 50 (max) wins with good health even with no James. 10 more (at 55 conservatively) if he comes on board.

    Bench -> Kuzma, Hart, veteran point not named Ennis, Frye, Zubac

    George signs on...he'd be the linchpin defensively and the go to guy closer offensively. Not that confident that we can get James but we'll see.

    I was listening to the Maddog Chris Russo the other day and he had that anus pimple Grant Napier on their and anything and everything that revolved around anything positive with the Lakers he predicted no one coming and no one giving a crap about the Lakers.

    In other words, most of these "pros" in the business are no different than any of us on some message board. All hopes, with very little knowledge of whats going on. And then you have those who are just deliberately full of s***.

    I have an extremely hard time imagining LeBron comes knocking and the Lakers say, "oh no thanks. We'll just wait a year and maybe get Kawhi even though we dont know anything about his injury and we'd be forfeiting wins on the off chance Kawhi truly wants to come home."

    I think if Kawhi wants to get here, we can figure out a way to make that happen no matter what we do this summer.
