Yeah. You don't dump Clarkson now. Only dump him if you need to next offseason. There's no reason to really dump him unless we have two max free agents that want to come here. He's a really solid 3rd guard in a 3 guard rotation. Have a deal lined up before July 1st. Once we know if we are going to be able to get two max players, we either jettison him or keep him. He won't be tough to move. Who knows? Maybe Randle plays out of his mind with Ingram and Ball and PG13 is the only free agent we sign next offseason. We'd need Clarkson for our bench.

Sounds like the C Bags already knew they had Hayward in the bag, sounds like TAMPERING to me, Utah should file a lawsuit like the cry baby pacers.

You're not wrong. They didn't trade for a star player in June that could be had for peanuts, because a player they couldn't sign until July might not mesh with him? Hmm...

Can fans file tampering charges on a team's behalf?

    Oh yes please.

    Also: #LeBron2018

There's so much smoke around this franchise right now that it started the biggest fire in LA county history last week.

edit- that joke might be too soon, but I understand its seriousness. Both my parents and parents-in-law were very nearly evacuated and this fire affected hundreds of people I know personally.

2nd fire in 6 weeks that was super close to homes on the hills in Burbank above me several blocks on the highest points. Really scary looking at night. But it was the other side of the hills where it erupted and then jumped the 210 freeway and burned a couple homes. Just heard on TV that the homes lost total is up to 4 now. Firemen and aerial craft pilots were absolute studs once again. They were fighting in that already 108 degree heat and flying at night for their drops. The winds seem to be fanning it again now further south in the hills above Glendale as the air traffic for drops has really picked up again.

    Yes yes yes please!!!!

Although, I hear some young players hate him on the Bulls, lots of Miami young players loved him, so I'd roll the dice on him in a second. We need the leadership.

wade's another terrible fit here--on the court. but that's not why we'd sign him.

Exactly. We need vets that have won and led teams to championships.

I expect little from him on the court.

I'd take him 2 years from now when he's ready for a reduced role. He actually still thinks he's the Man. He's not.

If he'd come here for one season for the exception I'd take him in a second. Brings us back a little more relevance, gives us the biggest name we've had since Kobe, and it's not like he's garbage now, he put up 18 ppg last season. Not a Wade fan, but we need to take steps to get back to relevance, and if meant Clarkson almost never played or could be traded, great.

You don't bring him because of fit, you bring him because Lebron 2018. I'd much rather try and trade Deng for him but that's hopeful wishing. Just hope he doesn't come here and expect a huge role, I honestly don't see where he would get mins unless JC is back up PG and Wade as back up SG. Or it makes trading JC a little easier I guess.

Wade's going to agree to come off the bench? Doubt it. They can't screw Pope over now. Can they?

Meh. I probably welcome Wade but the advanced metrics on him are not great. The Bulls played a lot better without Wade on the floor last year...and he has fallen off on the defensive end completely.

But like others said...that's not why we are getting him. Plus, if he costs nothing....it's low risk high reward.
