    they were up 20 on gsw in gm 1 of wcf before leonard got hurt, who knows how thing's wouldve turned if the injury didnt happen

    Eh, I don’t put much stock into that. In the 2008 WCF game 1 the Spurs were up 20 on us and we came back and won the game and the series. The Warriors were not losing that series because of 1 game.

    I think that's why the injury to Kawaii bothered him so much. He was beside himself.

    i think it would have been an interesting series had kawhi not gone down. gs is beatable, imo, and more importantly, they were the healthy team last year. an injury to curry or durant, and it's possible they're not even favored over hou, okc, or maybe even SA in a series. again, this is why i don't believe teams are really just packing it in until gs ages out. i think it's more of a built-in excuse for moribund and declining franchises to justify cost cutting.

    anyway...i'm not bullish on SA this year just because i feel like parker may finally be done. i worry about their guard play with him and ginobili both being semi-retired.

    Pincus confirmed what I said when the news broke: this essentially takes them out of the LeBron sweepstakes.

    LeBron to LA looking decent. Just have to have a decent a year.

    No way to know if that's true or not now. All you can do is plan for what we know is available.

    I'd be shocked if George signs an extension (he stands to make more money hitting the market), but if LeBron signs in LA that's going to make everyone stop and pause.
