Really good breakdown of the standouts these guys saw in Day 2 of the NBA Combine

And in case you missed it, here is Day 1 Breakdown

Lastly, watching the coverage the two days I agree that this was a cool addition for the viewers and the athletes to see how they stand up to the competition.

He's definitely raw but the potential is certainly there, shame he won't be around for our 28th Pick

Its funny I watched around 6-8 UCLA games this year and never really was in awe of his wingspan, but measurements don't lie. That's massive one indeed.

He looked pretty bad in the scrimmages I was watching. He had 2 or 3 not even close airballs on separate days. Fran said he was a product of recency bias more than anyone right now, because he put up like 26 and 12 in a tournament game vs louville. He said people forget just before that he was averaging like 6-8 PPG for 5 games in a row or so. From what I saw, not a fan, and Fran said he will be a project.

Stretch Fours / Small Ball Fives

    Jordan Bell

He's a five in a four's body, and that's not ideal. He's athletic as hell though, beating Randle in every speed and athleticism category (and Randle's numbers were very good). Not a shooter. He's actually smaller than Randle, so I doubt he's a good fit for either the stretch four or small ball five. But his energy level is apparently ridiculous, and he seems to be making his team better.

    Ike Anigbogu
This dude is put together. Didn't play much, didn't shoot much. Mostly blocked shots and rebounded. He can definitely slide into the five. Pretty impressive physique, and he looks like he could gain another fifteen pounds and still be able to move. Not a stretch four, but he could be a small ball five.

    Johnathan Motley
Possible stretch four, but he hasn't shot the three a lot. He doesn't have the size for small ball five, in all likelihood.

    Cam Oliver
He's an athlete who has been compared to Faried, and he looks a lot like Randle with defense and an outside shot - and he's definitely a defender. Could be a stretch four, but his game is pretty diverse on O.

I think Lonzo is a much better shooter than people criticize him for.

Yes his shot is awkward, but he still shot 40%+ from outside while attempting 5 per game. I think off the ball, he's much better. Inside the arc he was 70%, where he usually scores driving to the basket or using a floater.

What Lonzo struggles with in relation to his form is the shot off the dribble. Since it takes him so much time to gather his shot, it's not an option he's comfortable with. So he's not the player you want the ball at the end of the game.

I wouldn't mind if Tyler Lydon slides to the 28th pick. Stretch 4. Something the Lakers will need if they get Ball or PG13

i just watched a nearly 20 minute video on Fox. I'm starting to really come around on this kid. The handful of Kentucky games I watched last year, i thought he looked like the best player on the court each time. I really think he'd a be great with DLo in the backcourt. I'm with whoever sees Fultz as a potential clone of Russell. If we keep the pick, I have Ball and Fox as my top 2 choices.

Nice to feel like there are multiple options not that far apart.

Unlike KAT and the huge drop off to DAR :D

actually thought of this yesterday, and it made me sad. why? because i don't think having a top 3 pick in this draft is that important. i'd probably value 4 and 5 as much as 2 and 3. thus, when the lakers hand over the #4 to philly, it will be a good #4, relatively speaking and in terms of expected value. and if the lakers do get lucky and keep the pick, there's a good chance they pick someone without a superstar ceiling.

    there's your debbie downer moment.

that said, i'm obviously hoping to keep it.

Fultz really showed off his defensive potential in this game.

Anigbogu sounds like a Biyombo type player. Small ball center with tremendous reach and defensive potential. He could be useful.
