Seems Houston is giving him the Randle treatment.

He does seem like he's be a great fit for that team and city. One of the more social, interactive GM's out there.

This may an attempt to counter today's "small ball" basketball just like when sometime ago the Sixers (then 70centers) were loading up on bigs to create "big ball". I think the Spurs are on the verge of "medium ball" me thinks.

I agree with this. Sign Ayres to be our agent connection with Kawhi and call it an offseason.

I’ll keep BI, Kuz, Zo, Hart, Svi and Moe and take a chance on Kawhi next year.

If he pulls a PG somewhere else, good riddance. A true Laker wants to be a Laker, if he doesn’t, he was never meant to be one.

I would happily keep the young core and snag Butler, Klay, Kemba, Capela (if he doesn’t get his extension), Cousins (if he returns to form), or maybe Kyrie or KD have a change of heart...

Love how Skip acts like he's doing us the favour in the deal.

They lost a lot of their shooting this off-season.

LOL. Piss off, Skip. You are not getting one of them. Zu + Deng. Take it or leave it.

They don't get Zubac. We need a center. They only get Deng now. And they will like it.

They can have his clone, Bonga too. The Spurs love their draft and stash Euros anyways.

The Grizz are right at the tax theshold with this move now. They essentially swapped 7m in salary for 8m.

Meanwhile Sac cleared 1m from their books and now have 20.5m in cap space. A Capela offer coming? Dengdump? Kawhi 3teamer?

Not sure why they would get Capela unless they're trying to be Philly 7Centers West. They already have Bagley and Cauley Stein. It is the Kings though, and any move to weaken the Rockets is fine with me.

The smart play would be a 1 year / $20M offer. It screws Houston over whether they decide to match or not.
