...produced in spot minutes. Didn't take himself too seriously. Walton probably thinks practices would be more quiet now.

he's from chicago, right? feel like there's an angle there, marketing-wise. and it's a short deal, so it makes more sense than lavine's, imo.

i can't believe teams are spending 20 per on these guys and nobody seems to have considered offering capela that amount. houston got to skate on that one.

Yeah he was a good dude. It's too bad the freak timing to have to have that kind of a medical procedure have to be done. We could have used him a lot more I'm sure especially with the injuries going on.

Frye can still hit the J...not bad defensively and plays smart out there. I think he and Wagner would have been a good pair at the 4.

No .... at a certain point your takes on Randle blow. You're really an irrational hater at that point.

I'm rational. Just tired of hearing about Julius Randle and this fallacy of him being a great player. He was an average player.

Paul George is the one I got blind sided by. If you had told me he would opt out to take less money to STAY in OKC, I would have laughed.

Randle, Mosgov, etc. All middle of the road to s***ty players. Look for NOP to miss the playoffs.

You were right on him being the odd man out once LeBron was signed and us hitting on Kuz last year and Moe this year .... as there weren't going to be minutes for him and as you say so far he's not demonstrated that he can knock down shots. It's just the way it worked out here and with the kind of game they wanted to play. Needed McGee for the rim protection and vertical game.

Does not mean that he's a crappy player and we'll all see that this year. So agree to disagree again. This is a whole other matter. He's going to play well when allowed to play as he has been busting his a** to be able to play for the past year and a half. He's going to give us fits. Who you got stopping him consistently down low? LeBron's not going to guard him 32 minutes a game and he's the only guy with any mass we have now. Go ahead .... who? And we'll see how that works out and we'll see how well he plays with AD in NO.

Dont worry about it right now. Its inconsequential at this point. Theres no reason to do it now that the roster is pretty much set. Next offseason we can try again.

Makes sense to me. Randle is half again better than Parker so he got paid half as much. I'm doing maths right aren't I?

Where my son has his b-ball workouts, he had the opportunity to be on the same court as Shabazz Napier and his best friend, who is a pro in Europe or somewhere. I cannot remember. Shabazz is not 6'1" as listed. Not even close.

Good for him since he had a good season with Portland.
