Dude's in great shape and is clearly Hollywood enough to hang with the media here. I would definitely look into it to shore up our center rotation. Plus if the Bron to center strategy is true, the practice battles between those two would be epic.

Dude is DONE and has been for a couple years. I’m also not sure he could pass a drug test.

Interesting that he’s hanging with an old opponent of his father. Yannick Noah played in the John McEnroe era. Nor sure who the guy in the middle is though.

He’s in great shape. If he was cheap and healthy, he’d help any club that needed a defensive presence.

    I think it's Josh Brolin.

    P.S.

I really don't know if @sirronstuff knew that.

We all know sirron is actually Josh Brolin in real life and this is a trick.

I'm bad with movie stars. Even worse with singers. Far worse with politicians. Other sports I'm pretty bad too. Sometimes even players on other teams in the NBA.

Ok, so basically I work a lot and watch the Lakers.

When you say it like that, it sounds sad and lonely.

It looks like that 15th roster spot won't be filled afterall.

If the choice for 15th man is Noah, Bynum or Bosh... I think I go with Noah.

All three mentioned have had their bodies failed them. Noah and Bynum have both looked physically in great shape in recent photos. Bosh is a not in the conversation for me because he’s the one that can actually die playing basketball.

For me, difference between Noah and Bynum is between the ears. Nobody questions Noah’s motivations and desire to play while Bynum is in it for the paycheque.

Noah from 5 years ago can do everything, we need from the center position.... great defender, hustler, rebounder, phenomenal passer. Only thing he can’t do is shoot the 3.

Well s***, that's Lakers material right there....

And @Weezy why you hatin? The only thing washed about dude is his stomach. Yall think we going to offer him Deng money? Its called a minimum contract for a reason and we're in no danger of hitting the luxury tax. So what's the problem?

Plus dude has #SmashBro written all over him...

Lol I’m not hating, he’s just done, his body may be in great shape, but it’s not for pro basketball anymore. Over the last 3 seasons he’s played 29, 46, and 7 games. So sure, he played a full 82 games...over 3 years. At best he’s a 5/8 player in spot minutes, and we kind of have that in McGee. That’s all I was saying, he’s done from what I’ve seen, and unless he’s somehow back into top shape and can go out there and hustle board and play defense (because he sure can’t shoot or score), I don’t see a need.

In pro sports, once the mileage and injuries start to mount, they don't just go away.

If they did, Kobe would have had a much different ending. If anyone was willing to put in the work, it was him.

In Kobe's case it was the worst kind of injury. That achilles doesn't pop and if Phil had been picked at that particular point in time who knows how differently or longer he could have wound down from being prime Kobe. But 60 that last game sure was a special sports moment in L.A.

Don’t feel bad Sirron. I don’t even work and I didn’t know who Brolin was. I don’t watch tv and couldn’t care less who any of these movie stars are. I look at pictures of the dresses the girls are wearing from the different award shows and I’m lucky if I can name 1 out of 10 of the girls.

@Weezy you right about his injury concerns and use of recreational drugs that can keep him if the floor. But we're still taking about a guy that plays a position of need on our roster....a guy that isn't too far removed from being a DPoY...and a guy that also probably lost playing time for putting hands on a dude that controls the minutes/games he does play.

Until better options slow up, all I'm saying is that Noah on a partially guaranteed min deal is a huge upgrade compared to a vacant 15th roster spot.

@Cookie Allow me to talk in your language. I'm sure you can kill off a bag of Famous Amos cookies in a snap. Well think of Brolin in that same way.

Also, don't feel bad for sirron... He's notorious in his own right...
