When I got the news of Luke being named head coach of the Lakers I honestly jumped out of my seat. Basically the same reaction (well not quite, but you get the idea) as when Kobe erupted for 60 in his final game. It was exciting because Luke was the guy I thought for the longest time basically the entire season was gonna be our next head coach. The guy I thought would be the perfect fit for our young core. A guy I knew in my heart would never turn this opportunity down because I know he is a Laker at heart and it has probably hurt him as much as anyone seeing us struggle so much. Once a Laker always a Laker. He won championships here. He spent most of his career here and now he is the guy who has been chosen as the coach who is gonna lead us into a new era.

'I've watched a half of the Gonzaga game, the Cincinnati game, & the Maryland game. I can tell when something's an issue of personnel, and that's not what bothers me. There are spacing issues that I really don't like. He has a lot of pass & cut stuff, which is perfectly fine, but the cuts often end up running into potential driving lanes. And the 1-guard front with the 4-out set creates a lot of single gaps, which also reduces guard penetration. 'This is what I mean about weird 4-out spacing. Most of the time, 4-out sets have two guards up top, with the other two perimeter guys in the deep corners or (sometimes) lifted to the wings. This is strange, and a frequent Ollie look from what I've seen'

We've all seen his private camera crews following him and TWSN doing the same with the personal story behind his final games in the NBA.
Prior to the game about 4PM I had a thought and was going to throw it out here but didn't because the likelihood of anything even 1/2 as momentous as what happened in Kobe's last game seemed the most unlikely of outcomes ..... pure pipe.
But I thought about what a huge monetary potential from various opportunities if Kobe were to have some kind of great performance in his final game. Against all odds. And then he freaking pulls out of his magic repertoire the single most amazing individual performance for someone his age in their final game ...... probably in sports history. I'm just guessing here. But even if anything else is remotely in the same conversation it certainly was not covered with the high end audio and camera gear that was there last night. And Kobe freaking NAILED it.
