I thought this was a good read, and I think it says a lot of what long time Lakers/Kobe fans have been feeling lately. This is uncharted territory with Kobe and it's strange, and sad. I enjoyed the initial break he took where our guys stepped up and he saw he could do less, but I don't love seeing him sit so much and the idea that he will be done soon feeling so real and so close.

It is so obvious the guy is annoyed with the Kings managment. really reminds me of the Shaq situation when was in Orlando.
if i'm the Lakers, i'm trying to push hard to the Kings for a trade.
Cousins and Randle together will be priceless.
I don't care moving anybody for this guy.

Kobe will shoot 45% by the time the year is over. He increases his efficiency for the rest of the year, and makes up a bunch of ground. Currently 37.9%

Kobe finishes top 10 in assists per game this year in NBA. Kobe is at 5.3, and top 10 is 7.1. I think he can do it.

San Antonio doesn't make the playoffs. Currently 7th seed. 4-6 last 10 games. Oklahoma just getting warmed up. 8th seed is Phoenix and they are 8-2 in last 10 and only 1/2 a game back. From championship to out of the playoffs.

Los Angeles Lakers general manager Mitch Kupchak's 15-year-old daughter, Alina, died Monday morning after a lengthy illness, the team announced.

In a statement released on behalf of Kupchak and his wife, Claire, the team stated, "The family asks for and appreciates their privacy at this difficult time, and would like to express their gratitude for everyone's love, support, thoughts and prayers."

Kupchak is in his 28th season as an executive with the Lakers and his 15th in his current role after taking over for Jerry West in 2000. Kupchak joined the Lakers' front office in 1986 following a 10-year NBA career.
