This past season for the Los Angeles Lakers was a tough one filled with questionable decisions, unrelenting injuries, and ugly basketball. While the eventual payoff for such misery was the number 2 pick in the 2015 draft, fans still suffered through the worst year in franchise history.

Fortunately, in the midst of all the turmoil there were a few bright spots, a few energizing players who kept fans tuning in and hoping to see something positive on the court. One such player was...

So, before we start the draft and free agency, let's play a little game. Everyone puts down the 12 man roster they think will open for the Lakers. If you want to write a quick one or two sentences as to why, that's fine. But NO editing the lineup after June 20th. Then when the dust settles in a couple months we can look back to see who was closest.

This is not what you want or your "dream" lineup. This is not to discuss free agents or draft picks. This is what you think will actually be the 12-man roster come October.

I actually wrote this up a few weeks ago, but with the draft lottery win the "Season Review" series got bumped back a week. It's my take on Hill's journey through the NBA and how his 2014-2015 season will impact the Lakers decision on his team option.

Jordan Hill's NBA career has been a strange one, filled with promise, bad luck, and a hint of irony. Through all the ups and downs, he has become a key player for the Los Angeles Lakers, and one that the franchise will have to make a big decision about this summer.
