Probably. When you're not in the discussion for "all-time great player/big man/team/something else" it probably makes it tough to put in the work when you got your ring and your massive contract. Someone like Lebron is playing for a legacy. I think Steph/Klay/Draymond are playing to be in the discussion of the greatest team of all time. AD isn't going to be considered a top 5 big man, nor is he going to be part of an all-time great team. Root like mad for the Heat because if Boston wins a title, it will be over a decade before we can hope to compete for a ring to even the score (barring Pelinka getting something great for Westbrook....so a decade it is).

I checked the score at the end of the 3rd quite happy with a 12 point cushion for GS. But wow! Was NOT expecting to see that later when I logged on. They got smoked in the 4th. Not good. Not good at all. And at home. So there goes home court advantage.
yeah, they're sort of doomed, right? how do you lose a quarter by 24 points? giving away hca against a team who thrives on their role players making shots? had they given up game 1 to dallas, they might have lost to them, tbh. so much psychology here. i guess if anyone can overcome it, it's a team with that much playoff experience among its stars, but that was just awful.
I’m not as negative on the result as you guys. Boston went 9/9 from 3 in that fourth quarter and the ones hitting the shots are career 30-35% shooters. That’s not sustainable.

I don’t think this is necessarily true, they were up 12 entering the 4th and most times this results in a win. I don’t think the C Bags are an unstoppable force at all. They’ll struggle hitting shots and GS should capitalise. I think this goes to 6 in favour of the warriors.
Boston has played well on the road and terrible at home. If the Warriors win Game 2 and win 2 out of 3 on the road after, it's likely they win it all. But if Boston loses Game 2 and win game 3 and 4, they likely win it all.
Boston’s masterful defense keeps them in every game. Tatum had a terrible shooting night, but had a ton of assists. Both White and Smart hit big shots in the fourth. When they clamp hard on the Dubbs, AND Horford starts draining threes, that’s a hard combination to overcome. I initially thought it was going to be Warriors in 6, but now I think it’s C Bags in 7.
Like I said, I just don’t see this unstoppable force in Boston. They’re lucky they had 3 average to bad shooters have career shooting nights in the finals in one game. Otherwise they’d be down two games with GS looking to steal one in Boston. As it is, I think they probably finish the Boston trip at 2-2. Nice adjustments by Kerr tonight. Moving to more PnR with Steph when the C Bags were playing them on spacing really let Curry get free and get some in rhythm 3’s go off. If Poole can translate his second half to the rest of the series, Boston is in trouble.
