    I saw the video on youtube and I have to say I was quite moved by that video. Even NBA players are human. Anyone can suffer from things like depression. I feel for the guy. I hope he gets help and does what he wants to do. He seems like a good guy.

    I was pleased that the comments I read from ESPN posters, seemed to be supportive and understanding of Sanders. Most of our mistakes don't go up on the front page of internet sites or newspapers. It must be hard to wrestle with depression in such a public profession. He can't even lose himself in a crowd at his point.

    Hopefully mental illness will one day be held with the same validation and freedom of stigma afforded to physical illness and infirmity.

    ...mental issues are what Artest and Brando Marshall of the Bears have made as their causes. Good to see Sanders also making the public aware that even the ones with professions most sports fans dream of cope with such things as well.
