Man, I complained about no good sports being on a couple weeks ago, now we're back to having choices. Team USA scrimmage, or preseason NFL football. I'll go with both. The dark sports times are almost over.
So they're playing this game in the same arena where Paul George broke his leg last season. i would really hope the stanchions have been moved back to NBA standards. If not, and someone gets injured, heads will roll, and it will be deserved.
Times 2 or 10. I felt the same way when I saw the footage last year of the play. Not nearly enough distance. NBA guys playing with Jr. High safety zone.
I'll definitely be tuning in tonight. Will be another couple months before Training Camp and Pre-season games Just hope we dont see another Paul George type injury.
Who invited Michael Carter-Williams to this party? Drummond I get, we lack big men that are able to participate in this, but lack of guards, no.
Drummond came to play for the blue team. Griffin is out there thinking Kia is going to give him another car for dunking so damn often.
https://mobile.twitter.com/AustinRivers25/status/632209897510293504 Calm down there buddy, only reason you are still playing is cause daddy runs/coaches a team.
Kid is a fool. He was, by any metric, the worst player in the NBA what two years ago? Now because his daddy gave him a massive payday for no reason he's BETTER than half the guys at the USAB mini-camp? REALLY? Who are you better than Austin? Kawhi? Klay? Oladipo? Payton? Drummond? Faried? maybe even your own Chris Paul? How about LeBron? Melo? Fool.
All of the last minute subs are better than he is -- Amir Johnson, CJ Watson, Arron Afflalo, Elfrid Payton, and Terrance Jones. He's lucky to be in the league and wouldn't be if not for his daddy.
In my book, LA having a winning season, Kobe staying healthy, and then winning the gold (as more than just a figure head) would be as perfect of a final year as he could hope for. I think is having a winning season is the least likely of the 3, but it'd be a great note to end on.
Completely agree with this. And to hopefully make the playoffs and be competitive and make some noise.
I think just having a season that showed promise is enough. If we win over 35 games and it looks like the young guys are the real deal... That'll be a pretty good way out too. Something where we see flashes of "wow these guys could definitely be the future". Then Kobe gets his gold and rides off in the sunset of filming movies or whatever he wants to do is a great way to end his career.
