    I say based on our record we will be a lottery team, personally I hope we try to win every game and doubt we'll be bad enough to sniff a top 3 pick, unless the NBA wants to gift us the number 1 pick with those crazy odds....for nixing the cp3 trade lol.

    We don't need another young player to develop. We need to attract a star level FA either this offseason or next to take us over the top. Hopefully it's a 2 way wing like Hayward or PG13. In order to do that we need to win games and become a solid destination. Another youngster will extend our rebuilding process.

    Yeah I'd like for us to win as many games as possible. The top 3 pick is like a bonus; not something we should plan for. Even if we lose our pick, we could carry over a positive vibe into next season, and playing through competitive basketball would give our young players a clearer vision of what to work on in the offseason. I do not consider that a lost cause.

    Nothing would be worse than ending the season without any clear direction AND losing the pick. (think last year, without the Kobe game and no Ingram) We're not trying to build a farm system. We have enough young talent to develop already. The goal is to establish a winning culture asap.

    No more tanking. At this point the next draft pick would just be one more young guy for fans to complain about.

    But more importantly we have to start establishing a winning culture here sooner rather than later. Some of what I see on the court is a talented bunch that doesn't know how to win and developed bad habits during previous tank jobs. That's got to stop.

    If we keep the pick, great. I'm not counting on it.
