What happened to his 3 point shot? He was good in the preseason and now it just looks off

Looks like he’s trying to shoot them at 3/4 speed sometimes as if that’s going to help.

I want to see an uptick in play and confidence. We didn't trade for a HOF PG so we could keep him. Now show us why.

not sure it was a gamble. lowry is 35 and a UFA. nobody was offering anything of THT's value for him, else he would have been moved.

i was fine with lowry for kcp/DS, but with no additional assets attached. sounds like his other suitors felt the same.

Exactly my point of view too abeer3. KCP and DS would have been fine but no chance on adding THT in there. Good on Rob for not budging on that. Toronto overplayed their hand and all three GM’s walked away from the table.

I agree. I think even adding Caruso would have been too much as well. Lowry is a great player but there haven't been many buyouts that would fit the Lakers so it would have been problematic if we lose all that depth especially without AD+Bron for at least 2-4 more weeks.

It just may be me, but I won't trade a 27 yr old DS for Lowry let alone throw in THT, we're not talking about a game changing superstar, he's 35 and has choked more times than he won. I'd rather have my German sonic and a THT future than that.

Was it for sure the Lakers were gonna trade for Lowry? Or was it just hearsay.

I'd rather have Schroder then Lowry anyways.

All things being equal, yes, both could bolt in free agency anyway. A younger Dennis has Lowry's best strength down pat, too, taking charges and flopping lol

Lowry would have KILLED it as a secondary creator next to Bron/AD

As I said before Lakers were right not to pull the trigger because of the question mark on Bron and AD's health ( I think it was the real primary reason) .. not because they wanted to keep THT

Maybe. But they really do want to keep him obviously. Funny but good we weren’t “reported” having to talk teams off the Eagle yet. “May” bode well for how much it will take to keep him this summer.

pretty sure we'll have to match or beat the MLE for eagle. almost all teams could use a guy like him. can't see anyone offering more than that kind of money though.

wonder if he'll get our 3/40 special.

He's bringing his contract value down right now. He's getting a lot of burn and opportunities but need more production from him. Scored in double figures only twice out of the last six games.

yeah, didn't see the last one, but he's not stepping into an obvious void in our offense. we scored 96 points against orlando, who is right now probably the very worst team in the league.
