If this experiment fails, blame Lebron and AD who orchestrated this.

I stayed away from LD for a long time after the game yesterday and the ridiculous loss to OKC. And especially the Russ thread. So came here first and am surprised to find it relatively “non ballistic“. :D Considering that earliest it could be in the shot clock in our last vital possession …. 3 Point “not-brick-but-wall-cinder-block” he unbelievably decided to fire at the basket himself ….. had to be the worst shot in the history of western civilization.

:Schrooder Clown: 2.0 he gets for that from me and this from Shaq ….

    :Shaqdisappointed:

Quite frankly, it just isn't surprising for those who have watched Westbrook all his career.

No reason to get mad. He's one of the biggest reasons we won the Spurs game and one of the biggest reasons we lost the OKC game.

    Kind of sums it up...

    1 good game.
    4 horrible games.

The play that has summed up Russ was when he turned his back while his man shot and made a 3 to end the half.

I'm trying to think if I've ever seen anyone do that, let alone a superstar.

He might be the lowest IQ having so called star I've ever seen.

And he had the nerve to get mad at OKC at the end of the game?

    I despise his game completely.

    I hear you.

We split the two games without LBJ.

Lets just take that and go get one against a scrappy Cleveland team.

I've never seen someone so close to making a 3 and miss so many. I'd say over 50% of them bounce out. The worst part of it is that it gives him confidence that it was a good look and the next one will drop.

Turnovers were brutal, but the loss isn't on him. The team sleepwalked through this, played ZERO defense, and were tired from the SA game.

OKC are children compared to our senior citizens. I’m not saying it’s the reason they lost but I’d expect OKC to be a lot more preppy then us, especially because we played an OT game the day before. Earlier in the game is when you tend to have more energy and wear down as the game goes on.

Do you actually believe that? I know we lost last night in a startling fashion but OKC is not more talented than us. Any team can lose to another NBA team, it doesn’t make them better overall.

believe he was responding to the comment about our team being old.

he's correct that we have a lot more talent than them. i know folks love SGA (i'm meh on him), but if he's far and away your best player, you're a historically bad team.

at least AD seems to have gotten the message and is cutting back.

it's totally ok with me if AD just takes corner threes, btw. it's still a way to stretch the defense. right now, nobody's chasing him out at the breaks anyway, for good reason.

unfortunately, russ has to take them when he's wide open. though he could consider finding ways to use his openness to help his weakside cutting.

My god what are you supposed to do with this when it comes playoff time.
Yeah you can adjust the way you set screens to create driving lanes when teams try to go under the pick but when (or if the way this team is playing) it comes playoff time, the only way it will work if he plays center on offense like Houston did.

Theoritically it should work but we really havent' seen them try to do this yet and you take the post game away from both Lebron and AD.

AHA! Maybe OKC is where the search for “Meat” should be expanded to include rather than just NO. Far more kids there.

q1 says shows otherwise, and my comment about more talent is in reference to our team....this team just simply stop playing the right way after q1, they werent tired and being older wouldn't lead to being tired 5gms into the season
