    I want him back next year. I don't care if he mails in most of the season as long as he shows up in the playoffs as he just did.

    Rondo in the NBA finals 8.7 pts, 5.2 rebs, 5.5 assists, 1.7 stls, 1.0 TOs, shooting numbers tanked but the all around floor game was there as he averaged 25mpg

    Re-sign and make sure he is healthy for the playoffs. He can shoot 10% from three for the regular season all he wants... Playoffs time, we know he is ready.

    Rondo was on First Take today.

    The biggest takeaway was regarding this off season...
    Stephen A said he's heard multiple teams will be interested in Rondo this summer, including the Clips.

    'Do said he'll talk to with his agent, and they're explore his options. Doesn't really want to worry about that right now. Focused on enjoying the win and then vacationing. But he did say the interest is always there in running it back after winning a 'ship.


    I really don't see him leaving. He might opt out, because the money will be about the same and just see what's out there. Can't see him leaving AD, Bron, and possibly Boogie. He has way to good of a thing going with this squad and his voice is welcomed and heard. And he can easily transition into a coaching role here when he's done. You aren't afforded all those opportunities and the chance to continue to contend for multiple more championships just anywhere.

    I think Rondo stays. He has a ton of input here with the coaches that he wouldn’t get in some other teams. Plus he plays with high basketball IQ guys here. I could see him getting frustrated with the average “playa” type of NBA guy. Of course I could see Ballmer making a big run at him and promising him the world. It actually would have been better if Doc was still coach, since their relationship seemed to have run its course.

    It's official, he said he is ok with the term Playoff Rondo. Next step getting him to threepeat with us and changing his name to Playoff Rondo by deedpole.
