You could see the joy Luke was talking about out there. I love our young guys. Then you imagine throwing in JC, Julius, and some vets...woo boy. We won't win a title, but hopefully it'll be fun to watch

No, we won't win the whole thing. No, we might not make the post-season. We WILL cause opponents to say "Damn, these young punks are a handful!"

That's true. Last night was damn near as much fun as watching Kobe drop 60 against all odds and us winning that game.

Dlo has the clutch in him. Larry is a LOT better than I thought he would be when we drafted him. Granted I haven't seen Randle this year, but I think Larry might be the better player atm.

You can see the superstar potential in Russell and Ingram. You can see the role player/leader in Larry Nance. You can see the joy our players are having in summer league.

And just a huge shout out to the fans in Vegas. Larry getting MVP chants at the line, the defense chants at a preseason game and just the overall energy they had for the team was amazing. Just overall excited there is hope in Lakers land.

This one was great to learn& be excited about.

So do y'all still want Cousins? I wonder what the status of him is with all the Queens recent big men acquisitions.

Cousins is certainly a headache from a personality perspective.

If we could land him without giving up Dlo or Ingram, I would do it. Otherwise I wouldn't. But he is a piece that could lure other players...with all that said, he is still a major headache without any doubt. He also isn't all that efficient because he is moving away from the basket and shooting jumpshots these days. But overall he is the overall package (except mental aspects).

Center position is kind of dead in the modern NBA.

I don't think so. Sadly...the centers are dead.

This league just doesn't have any dominant Cs anymore to abuse small ball teams. The C position requires more mobility than 20 years ago but there just aren't any skilled Cs out there with talent these days.

Prime Shaq would average 40/20 against GS or 50/30 if Green is supposed to defend him in the death lineup lol.

No great center is coming. Everyone wants to shoot threes now.

I'd still take prime Shaq over any existing player.
