My optimism is this season will be ending soon and we will all be put out of our misery.

My optimism is that we’ll get healthy next year and win the championship.

I’ll always maintain that a healthy Bron + AD is the best duo since Shaq/Kobe, and we’d be gunning for our 4th championship in a row next year if AD were healthy this whole time.

can't decide if getting blasted by the clippers in the second play-in game or just missing it altogether will prompt the FO to reconsider its operational strategy. i'm rooting for maximal impact. let's get the rambii out of basketball decisions.

That's not enough, they'll creep back in. I want them off the payroll entirely. Restraining order is best case scenario, not sure how we can make that one happen though.

I have the solution. Jeanie needs to sleep with Kurt and a PI get photos. Show them to Linda, she quits. Then Jeanie kicks Kurt to the curb. The Buss family finds out and somehow that’s a violation of the family trust and they are forced to sell the team. :LLLLLebronlaughing:

It's all a clever strategy, this was all planned. The league thinks the Lakers are weak and finished, but no, muaha we've got them right where we want them.

At the sacrifice of regular season records the team collectively sucked all season long in preparation for another Championship, A.D will be well rested and Dressbrick can finally flap his little wings while Lebron does a 180* and plays intense defense.

the most 2022 lakers thing that could happen would be both returning only to lose to the pelicans by 20.

Since this is the "optimism" thread, the geeks at 538 - after the loss to Pelicans - have us at a 0.7% chance of making the playoffs.

I have us at 0.0% as of now, but then again I ain't got no computer algorithm working for me. (0.7%...so you're sayin' there's a chance?)

They also have the C-Bags at a 27% chance of winning the Finals (Boooooooo!); the Suns at 26%. Notice their Elo forecast (wtf is dat?) has the Suns winning in the Finals at 44%; the C-Bags at only 23%. It'll be sad if either team wins it all, as I effing hate both teams, their organizations, cities, and fans.

It was playing out where Boston may come out the east. I was hoping Lakers vs C Bags for the 18th title could be it. Would have been an epic match up.

    Lakers tonight
    [IMG]

So glad this s*** is over with. Can they conduct exit interviews tonight too or is Silver going to make us go through the formality of losing the next 3?
