with the olympics being postponed to 2021, i am increasingly starting to believe what others have been saying, in that there wont be any more NBA till next year

    Corona, California!

I already know I’m going to have to put up with jokes or comments for the rest of my life now whenever someone asks me where I’m from :D

I wonder how many of the children that are inevitably conceived during this lock down will be named Corona.

Corona is already bad enough, this is the last thing they need.

Things will die down by June at the latest. NBA will finish the season and then next season will likely be a 66 game season when it starts in December.

Former Texas A&M guard David Edwards has died because of complications from the coronavirus.
Edwards is the second known former player from a major college basketball program to die as a result of COVID-19. On Monday, Lamont Middleton told Zach Braziller of the New York Post that former St. John's guard Lee Green died from the coronavirus.

Hoping OXtradamus is right, but that's not what I'm reading right now. This is going to go in waves, and I would not presume things will be dying down in June "at the latest."

So much of that depends on how dumb people are. If we continue to have some of the country lock down and flatten the curve while the other part of the country decides to have their Spring Break or whatever other selfish endeavor they choose to partake in, the waves will keep coming. If everyone buckles down for a few weeks, and one of these anti-viral drugs shows to consistently knock this thing back to where it doesn't become fatal, then we will be playing by June. I have faith that one of these drugs will do the job. I don't have faith that our population is smart enough.

Cuban said today that if there was an over/under on June 1 for the NBA season to resume, he would bet the under.

take it for what its worth

Mr. Griddles, I don't want to sound like a pessimist, but if the timeline here comes down to Americans reacting to this crisis by acting smart or being painfully dumb . . . well . . . here's to hoping something changes.
