Killed it out there tonight. Only missed 1 of his 7 shots (including 4-4 from 3). Bron was the only other starter who had more than his 16 points.

Big game yet again, helped us start to pull away in the 3rd bombing threes, plays exceptional defense. All of our pickups like this seem to pay off at different times, he was invaluable this series when McGee and Howard were made a liability.

Good shooting from behind the arc tonight... Solid out there.

Markieff has been getting more minutes since the Rockets series and it's leading to an improved performance.

First six playoffs games, 3 points, 39% from the field, 23% from three.

Last four playoffs games, 11 points, 55% from the field, 53% from three.

I had my doubts about him but the fact that Rob picked him up for nothing and he's becoming a huge player in the rotation shows how great the Lakers management is. They say him and his twin are the same... Nope, Markieff will have a ring and Marcus won't!

    He's been solid.

He can play multiple positions, adds physicality, and is now stretching the floor...

Hoping we bring him back next season.

He is a perfect 4 and even small 5 for us. Strong, can shoot, plays defense. I also think we should bring him back next year if the $$ is right.

So happy with his signing and what a seemingly fits-like-a-glove scenario he is for the Lakers especially during the HOU series. @Cookie nailed it in the DOOMSDAY thread when she said "We got the good Morris" because there is no such thing as a "good or better Morris" but a "good or BAD" one. And yeah, pretty much got him for free.

At the same time, it’s also a testament to how it IS a good idea to give Lebron and his camp a lot of power in the organization. The Klutch connection is real, and Klutch seems to be getting more and more powerful, acquiring more impact players.

Realistically we’ll probably lose some players this off-season and have some holes to fill. The combination of Pelinka and Lebron (whether via Klutch pulling strings or just Lebron generally attracting players to join him) has me confident we’ll be able to effectively re-tool.

The Morris twins are sort of a microcosm of the Lakers/Clippers all season. The media fawned over the Clippers getting Marcus. "How amazing was that deal? Lakers should have traded Kuzma to get him." We then sign his brother (who has been just about as good as Marcus throughout their entire careers) and it was almost as if the signing didn't happen. All year long it was all about what the Clippers were doing and what the Lakers weren't doing. But it turns out, we were a better team all along. Markieff was the better Morris all along. Marcus is a dirty, fake-tough guy. All those "dogs" on the Clippers ran outside to their doghouse with their tails between their legs like the little bi....well, the analogy writes itself. Meanwhile Markieff is nice and steady. Buys into the team and just gets to work.

It's very settling seeing him shooting threes

We were busy “scrambling” while the Clippers were giving up a “treasure trove” of draft picks. Jokes on them.

Ha.. Still love the talking heads trying to sell Marcus as the "steal of the deadline" addition..

LOL. Yeah which team scrambled to sign their superstar? Lakers with AD or Clippers getting bent over by OKC for Paula to be able to sign Snake? Both of them having opt outs after next season? These guys are "stand up" though .... no history of pursuing trades to other teams .... right? Both going to turn new leafs and no more "load managing" needed next year .... right? Teammates are down with that anyway and understand it's for "greater good ".... was just fake news about chemistry problems caused ... right?

His 3 ball has been dead on with the uptick in usage. He's been really solid for us and gives up even more roster versatility.

Much better fit than his brother. Suck it Clippers.

Was invisible out there today with not much impact. Morris was just there. It was an uneven game for everyone.

Every shot he takes is not a bad miss... Got called for a foul trying to draw one on a trey. The Reggie Miller kickstand thing.
