    I'm sure Pau can get approval to be with the team and get some role with the Lakers like an ambassador or something. I'm not sure having him as a vet minimum during COVID is something he would want to do. He'd have to be with the team and that means testing every time. It also takes away a spot from a player and I'm sure Pau knows the opportunity that some of these guys would have that he is taking. Pau's a good dude and his jersey will be in the rafters but I feel like there are better ways to celebrate his career than him taking a vet minimum to basically sit on the bench.

    can houston really unring that bell? i'd believe more if they hadn't sold covington. so basically they want to run back the team that wasn't going anywhere pre-covington trade? after their two stars asked out? just not sure about it.

    Remember that hater commentator during Shaq/Kobe years
    Klay injury changed their outlook. GSW has beat them like a drum the last 5-6 years.

    I think they're ok with not going for the title but they're going to wait on better offers

    Lakers might not even have to play Jokic or Embiid and those two are the toughest centers in the NBA outside of AD. If Lakers are playing a team that goes small, AD and Trezz will dominate them like a Thanksgiving dinner.

    Yeah, signing Pau wouldn’t really be ideal for our roster construction or Pau himself.

    And really, all I want is for him to be made an ambassador for the Lakers. Give him some kind of role to put our stamp on him that he’s a Laker legend. Whether that be some sort of coach/scouting position, or even just a guest role on Spectrum.
