it's possible the ball got hung up on his hip, and the refs considered it a "bobble", thus no travel. but probably not.

    howard's was a football move.

yes, he really adds value to the viewing experience.

I really like how he is playing: wouldn't mind seeing him in some crunch time minutes just to get the reps but they probably want to save him.

He doesn't seem to be as slow footed anymore on defense. I mean he's still slow but he's getting to his spots now and I also like he's being more aggressive with taking the 3 point shot. Lakers are also using him at to the top of 3 point line where his passing can just cut up defenses.

The Lakers probably needed some time to get used to him as well. there is no way lebron would be prepared to catch that pass unless he knows Gasol can make a play like that

he said himself early in the year that on defense he also needed to figure out how guys play/the system and that he'd look better. i believed him. and he was right.

I noticed how ole "too slow Marc" on one play last night said to himself, Oh crap! this guy's going to the hoop on the break .... and ran a little faster to catch up as the guy gathered to go up for the lay in or dunk .... and with his Artest / Caruso like accurate, quick hands .... down swiped the ball out of his possession without fouling him.

This is when he's not being Mt. Gasoool out there for small players to bounce off of to the floor .... or bigger centers not to be able to move him like they can most of the puny centers in the league, or dishing incredible, surgical dimes like he's probably the inspiration for Jokic learning how to pass so well.

love marc. slow as molasses, but steady defense/reb, IQ, and passing more than makes up for it for me.

Marc on the road against two elite teams now and he's looking washed. Love the guy and his game but his feet are just so slow right now. Never thought I'd ever see a small guy like Smart not be afraid of a Gasol when they had position downlow and he was just able to get to this spot quicker

We can't play 4 against 5 on O like that . I've defended his defensive impact but man this was embarrassing

He really needs to find his 3 pt shot. If he can just hit that at a decent clip, it will really open things up for AD.

if dwight was here, jokic would have scored 10 points below his average in a comfortable win for the lakers.

    oh. wait.

It's a long season and playoffs its all about matchups. We're gonna really need him then. His age is showing right now unfortunately

We can win a title with him, but I'd feel a lot better if we signed another big man. As of now, we're playing 4 on 5.
