I said we should take a look. He's got a nice skillset. I don't know where he'd fit into the rotation, but he could be the Yi we wanted.

Still confused about the Nets/Rockets signing offer sheet with regards to him, but he does have talent that I wouldn't mind adding. It does cause a problem with our rotations but that's a nice problem to have. Don't we have 15 players though? (Just reading the headline.)

Look, people get injured. We've had a few bigs miss decent amounts of time already, and Nance won't be back for weeks. Motiejunas isn't a great player by any stretch of the imagination, but he's close to an average rotation player when healthy and he's still young (26?). He's a so-so defender and he can shoot. If he's good to go, we should sign him. If we aren't tanking, you add him and worry about minutes later. He'll earn them or he won't. If he does, then someone isn't pulling their weight. If he doesn't, then cut him loose after the season.

    Should be a no-brainer here.

FO should look to possibly move Deng/Moz , sign this guy and go in tank mode. If you have to throw Russell on the DL to further the tank.

We need that top 5 pick...

Stop with the f****** tank talk. Enough of that crap we had to do the last two seasons on this forum hoping for it. The odds are HUGELY against us and who wants to root for losses any more? Montiejunas supposedly had his contracts fall through because of a bad back. So let's get rid of Mozgov and Deng both and roll with him. Perfect.

I like both players but I wanna tank due to the uncertainty of this team and possible free agents. We can develop the youngins while still tanking.

What if pairing the top 5 pick with say JC/Deng/Moz&another filler can net us an all-star?

It's top 3 protected in the first place. The odds we could pull that off a third year in a row to keep our pick are astronomical, and how crappy we would have to hope to be with that many losses is disgusting to think about at this point now that we have a really good coach for the first time since Phil left and who hates losing by the way. Luke didn't come here to fold up and agree mentally wink wink with the front office to tank at the first sign of adversity.

I thought it's top 5? Wolves finished with 29 wins and got the 5th who ended up netting them Kris Dunn. Might just take one more year LT laker.

A big misconception about him is that he is a shooter, which he's not.....

Might as well let Moz rip a few from deep if we need a "stretch" 5 so badly. Or if you want a young player to come in, just play Zu.

I agree he isn't a shooter but teams would still respect him more from distance than Moz or Randle thus at very least producing a lil more space down low. I view his rep as stretch 4/5 like Yi but unlike Yi at least his release isn't 5sec long

He's not a shooter but he's better and would be more dangerous than Moz who has in fact been killing it relatively speaking from mid range, the FT line and "is" a shooter with good form for a big? Like Doc said, you think he couldn't back up 2-3 feet at times and knock down a decent % of those? If asked to? Makes a lot of sense your again bash just to be bashing.
