If we were healthy, and had some chemistry established, we wouldn't need to. But since we're not what is your problem with those of us that think we'd be better off getting some games under our belt first. Like a series or two. Were you also one of the people here bagging on AD because he wasn't in superstar mode after only 3 or 4 games back after being out a couple months with a potentially career altering injury? That makes the same kind of sense. IMO.

Or did my tongue in cheek detector need its intensity turned up to get your true meaning?

 

Losing that 5th seed really sucks. We could have faced Denver who we match up pretty well.

I quite honestly don't like the prospect of facing the Clips in the 1st round if we somehow got the 6th seed and I also think that it's not a guarantee that we get pass the play-in if we end up the 7th seed. Steph Curry could have one of the monster nights were he puts up 50 and it's over for us.

The latter. Too quick to try the “gotcha” game. I was THE one saying two weeks ago that 7 has the most up aside, especially to get juices flowing and legs back after time off, to play a two-guard star team like the Suns whom we match up well with (like we did to Dame/CJ and Russ/Harden last year) and to avoid the Clips and hope they get Dame round 1. And...sigh. I was not “bagging” on AD. I said he is not playing like a top 5 player, despite his potential to do so, since the beginning of this season. And noted the constant injuries. He indeed played like a top 3 player for two games. Then good but not great last night. Any who...the the Ws are playing great so Bron and AD and Dennis better be focused on that one game.

 

The Rockets are also a 16-win team and tanking hard. This isn’t some scheduled loss for us, even with AD and LeBron out.
