Yeah when people got between them he went off, maybe he is just an idiot. You would think the team would be looking to put up something in his defense, considering the way he acted. All you got is that he was upset and lost his cool. If James said something to set him off, that would have been the first thing he brought up to try and give himself a little cover. The only comments about anything said was James saying it wasn't intentional(to his face) no one, including him has denied that happened either.

The only account we have of Lebron saying anything to him is when he immediately went over to him & said "my bad"...
Once the dude started bleeding, he went nuts. If Lebron said anything to him after the fact, it was because the dude was likely threatening Lebron.

LOL...He pulled up quick when Jordan stepped to him didn't he? He was running roughshod over all those little people. He wasn't such the raging bull once somebody his size was in front of him. Russ was ready to rock and roll too!! My dude!

This seems the most plausible explanation: starting bleeding and then lost it.

LOL. No he was all show at that point, once he went berserk, for whatever reason, and had no intention to do LeBron any harm.

    :Nope:

If you watch the video he was actually snatching his arm away from Grant's grip on it. He did it several times with other people. If he wanted to throw a punch he would have.

The most likely explanation, again, is that seeing and tasting his own blood sent him into a frenzy. In the end, this will probably amount to... nothing.

Maybe he's just an idiot? Sometimes the answer is the most obvious one. He didn't get up wanting to fight. Why he went running around afterwards like a clown? I don't know, he hasn't really answered the question himself yet. Maybe he doesn't have a clue. Running to the tunnel and all that, that kid lost all touch with reality at that point. It was pretty obvious that he wasn't going to get close to James in the first place. He didn't seem to want any smoke with Davis or Jordan, so what exactly did he think he was going to accomplish? Sounds like an idiot to me that lost his head.

Any/all of it was stupidity. You saying he really didn’t want to get to LeBron is just a contrary observation vs what it sure as heck looked like once he went wacko.

Lebron was in at the start of the second. It was 30-26 to start the quarter and in a three minute stretch if was 35-39. A 13-5 run by Detroit before we call a timeout. Now I get it, runs happen, my issue with that run is Detroit had 5 made layups/dunks while we were in the zone.

That means they were busting our zone and getting into the middle easily. Any lackadaisical effort in the zone leaves it vulnerable and Lebron wasn’t giving much effort on either end.

That was one of the worst Lebron games I’ve seen for the Lakers, and that has nothing to do with the incident but to do with effort.
