I’ve literally addressed every single question in this post. Tell me this, where did Morris rank last year? The year before that? And before that? And before that? But yeah, his half season on the Knicks makes him a stud.

Our advantage is size. Utilizing that is how we beat the Clips and this changes nothing. If you can’t see that, it’s just another thing you can’t see.

No lying, Harkless was a problem for us in the games against the Clips. I’d be happy to see them match Morris against Lebron instead of Harkless.

"Where did Morris rank before? The year before that."

So players can't improve according to you? Only Kyle Kuzma can improve, yeah? Can I introduce you to Kyle Lowry?

    https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/l/lowryky01.html

Can I entertain you with some Big Shot Billups?

    https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/b/billuch01.html

What about Steve Nash? 2x NBA MVP?
    https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/n/nashst01.html

So according to you, Marcus Morris 43 games of productivity isn't evidence but Kyle Kuzma has a "higher ceiling" than Josh Hart through your metric of nonsense?

Honestly, I have no idea what you’re trying to say here. Now Nash and Lowry are in this
conversation? If you really think that correlates at all, then okay you win. You even went as far as twisting a post from me saying we could have swapped Hart for Kuz, but only pointing out that I thought Kuz had a higher ceiling.

I’ve been watching the Lakers for 30 years. We were literally the worst franchise in the league for the last 5 years and now we’re a legitimate contender. Personally, the Kobe tragedy put things in perspective for me and I’d prefer to root for my team than constantly search for reasons to complain. You do you, but I’m going to work on avoiding the negative energy here going forward.

How long is he going to get away with playing this passive in 4th quarters ?

His best move remains the drive and dish.

he has limited moves around the basket if he can’t get by you. His lift isn’t what it once was, and he’s getting stuffed and swatted on a regular basis.

His handle in traffic isn’t great, and he turns the ball over a lot.

but he’s still rolling out triple doubles and is a great player. He’s just different from what some of us prefer. A closer. He shows flashes here and there, but at his core he’s not the take it over and shove it down your throat see if you can stop me guy.

He's more aggressive in the playoffs, that's where it matters the most. He doesn't need to be super Bron right now, just when we need him in the playoff run.

He’s in-game resting, as he has all year.

we’ll learn everything in a couple months.

Is lebron done as an mvp? Is Danny green washed? Is kuz more than a bench body?

I don’t think February games answer these questions.

Is it a historical trend ? this passive in the 4th against the good teams in the regular season ( for Lebron fans who closely followed his career)

Yes: particularly the last year in Cleveland after the Kyrie trade. Dude sleptwalk during the regular season. NBA is a confidence game and when a player feels good they play better. Lebron with his gas off the pedal on both offense and defense allowed teams to get a good feel and then it was hard to stop the momentum.

He was absolutely a terror in that playoffs till he hurt his hand after Game in the Finals. One can hope he does it again but he's older and one of these days he's not going to able to flip the switch. In addition, I don't remember him getting blocked as much as he does now but also he really looks like a PG now: he's a different player from even 2 years ago. Kuzma not being a consistent 3rd scorer is a huge negative for this team as Lebron's passing is even better then when he was in Cleveland

Up five with 20 seconds left... Not impressive to me. LeBron has been disappointing in late game situations this season.

This guy is terrible and the Lakers are crap this year. Oh yeah and AD is a wuss.

It's kind of astounding that given all of these things we are in first place in the West. Also that we have surpassed our win total for all of last season already. And that we are one of three teams considered to be legit contenders this year.

Some of the folks here seem to have forgotten that we completely sucked for the last 6 years. And now we have an actual championship contender with two of the top 5 players in the league. To me, that counts for A LOT. We have gone from irrelevance to the top of the food chain. I'll just try to enjoy the games this year. Of course winning it all is the goal and and hopefully the outcome but I'm thrilled that we are in the hunt again. The rebirth has been pretty remarkable and I'm digging what I've been seeing in general. It's nice to see us winning more than 75% of our games again. When was the last time that happened? 2010 maybe?

Honestly though, we should have let the Dubs take the lead and then, only then, set Bron up for a game winner. That's how the real stars do it!

We are leaning on Lebron more and more with every passing game. The rest of the team needs to step up especially a certain 7 ft Super Star

If harden plays 20 years and continues to shoot fts at this rate, he’ll finish with over 12,500 ftas
