What I kind of want to know is who is leaking all this stuff? We got someone telling Dave that Russ was a vampire, and now that Ham is running LeBron into the ground… Like I know Handy wanted that job, but this might not be the way to go about trying to get it.

i repeat: if he's hurt; he should sit. now, he should also sit the all star game...

it's just not a great look to basically get the scoring record and then immediately close up shop...until the allstar game.

yeah, he better not be playing in the ASG if he's actually injured. what a terrible look that'd be

I don't like Bron. That is well known. That being said -- he can't sit the ASG. Kobe used to say (probably not the first to do so) ... "what if there is a kid that came to see me and it's his only chance".

Bron has an obligation to his fans. Playing 10 minutes at a slow pace should not be any different from a light workout to see how the foot reacts.

    No biggie.

It absolutely looks like Dave is getting fed by LeBron/Klutch. I follow Hoop Collective and the way he said gave me that perception. It's almost impossible to follow media content nowadays, each pundit has an agenda.
Yep, it really looks like that's what will happen.

LeBron treats basketball absolutely like a business. He has no attachment to the team, fans or whatever. It's a business for him and he manages in a way it gives him success. Individual success for LeBron most of the times results in team success too, but not all times. That's why you lose every asset for 1y rentals or he sits game strategically that allow him to keep him healthy where he wants to be or to run his personal life, regardless of the team needs. It's also why he doesn't care about defense, because it has allowed him to continue to make amazing numbers on offense and keep the media hype around him.

He's doing an amazing season and our +/- with and without him is crazy. So it's hard to say anything bad about the guy, but it's this type of stuff that makes you not embrace him like you do with other players.

I'm pretty sure he's playing the ASG and if he isn't, the injury is way serious. We play 2 teams with whom we are fighting for the play-in + a team that has a pick swap with us. This is like the Finals for us. It's not even a game against Houston. There's no excuses and he needs to be called out, regardless what he says.

Anyway, I always try to see opportunities in bad situations. Without him, our new guys will have extra runs and touches and will be good to get more acclimated with our team, get some confidence. Of course our play changes completely with Bron on the roster, but the confidence and reps that our new guys will get can be good to speed up the process. Thank God we have AD healthy now
Lol wtf? That's a terrible use of that Kobe quote because he used it in actual games. LeBron is literally sitting games that we NEED to win. And he's a meme right now because he is always questionable and only a few hours before you know if he plays or not, making tons of people buying tickets and making arrangements to go see him in the game and see him in street clothes

That’s another way to look at it Zen I guess. Sucks for the kid/fan who ponied up for the regular season game and the team if we just barely lose any of these costing us at least the play in games, but if he’s genuinely hurting …. he’s most certainly not Kobe.

With the new reinforcements and talent ….. and AD working back toward where he was pre foot problem, and IF Ham coaches well …. we should be able to win these remaining 2 games before the break factoring in the players they also are missing.

yeah, it's nuts. karl malone and kevin willis (other guys who played a long time) are some of the only ones who come to mind that look that chiseled. that's hard work and a big genetic lottery victory, too.
