Didn't like seeing us 30 down and our players laughing, Lebron yucking it up after the game...where's the Mamba mentality?

 

That man perished 2 years ago. We will never see the likes of him again.

 

don't worry; he'll score 50 if he has a good shooting night from deep again, and people will forget that he hasn't played defense in months again.

We were going to get blown out by the Suns regardless of the level of Lebron’s defensive effort.

Sure I’d like to see better effort, but we don’t need Lebron on a bum knee killing himself to be our defensive anchor in a futile game/season just so we lose by 20 instead of 30.

I’ll be honest, I’m fine with the offensive stat padding if we occasionally see extraordinary performances like against GSW/WAS. Seeing Lebron gun for the scoring title is at least something I can enjoy cheering for in this abysmal season.

I wouldn't mind if he was on another team. The other guys follow his lead mostly. He is a clown they are clowns. I want to look like we care more than I want to see a 50 point explosion that in the end means nothing. Him chasing stats is a major reason we are having an abysmal season.

 

if he's not going to play defense due to his knee, i think he should be sitting. if he's not going to play defense because the season is over, i don't even know what to make of it. but he stopped playing defense long before the season was actually over, imo. part of the reason the season was doomed was because he and others came out of the gate thinking everyone but them had to defend.

 

He’s always talking about trying to win games for the “Laker Faithful,” while at the same time rarely giving any effort on D. Does he not know that a lot of us are not going fall for his rhetoric? He thinks we will give him a pass for not trying on that end- he’s flat wrong. He obviously doesn’t realize we couldn’t care less about the latest record he breaks. We only care about winning basketball.

 

People say that he is still playing at a high level, yes he is offensively no question though not so much as a complete player, a younger prime Lebron would carry this team with a better record, he would be playing defense.

 

I get how frustrating trying to play the 5 full time at this age probably is and to not get help in the glass. BUT I can't respect that if I'm a teammate because he refuses to get back on D... like ever.

 

Anybody made a "check my empty stats " T-shirt yet ?

 

This is the 2nd year in a row where Lebron's offense has been prioritized by him and the coaches to the point that its costing games. They've neglected on involving everyone offensively. This Philosophy of being Lebron-centric has gone on for a while now only now people see it with the losses piling up.

The team defense is down right abysmal at least that kept us competitive from 2019-2021

-lakers continue to play small-ball and put lebron at the 5


how does this make sense?

 

I mean we don't have other options at C. Dwight is awful and should only play once a week.

 

What the King is focused on



My prediction is he sits the Washington game to rest the knee, so he can hit the mark in Cleveland. It's a better story for him.
