LeBron gets less blame from me vs AD because of age. He’s got a million miles on him when AD should still be under the extended warranty. Both are to blame for sure though. It’s just the percentage of blame that is up for debate IMO. Both of them wanted Westbrook though, so they have no one but themselves to blame for that.

AD has been far better than lebron in my opinion

i think time has finally caught up with lebron. 19 seasons, 9 finals appearances in 10 seasons, and 3 olympic appearances. crazy that it took this long

me too. it's an unpopular opinion, and i'll be glad to eat crow later, but lebron has looked very meh this year. teams aren't afraid of him on offense and are kind of going after him on defense. at least teams are clearly still afraid to go at AD on d.

Let’s see how Lebron responds to his declining abilities. I don’t think he’ll be likable. More like full of excuses. And blame.

I don't know I think Lebron is still pretty clearly the best player on this team.
Particularly (and he deserves blame for this) this team is not constructed on how i would put a team around him

Biggest thing is he's still a good defender but he used to be able to switch onto 1-4. As a good of a switching defender as I've ever seen but now 1 and 2 can get around him with burst.

    Completely agree.

I said last year: we needed a Malcolm Brogdon archetype for this roster.

Turns out not we would have been more patient, we probably could have put something together for him.

LBJ used to be able to get his under any circumstances. All great players do.

Nevertheless, as he ages, we had to be very careful how we created this roster around him.

Time will tell, but we're .500 currently.

    We shall see.

Thought that was a very good quote from Bron on Curry with respect to him passing Ray Allen for most 3's in NBA history.

No matter what @sirronstuff says. (Teasing.).

I'll have to disagree. The dude just put up another 30 plus point game. He was subpar last night and he managed to put up a 20 point triple double. He's still our best player. He's had some meh performances this year but he's also been out for half the season. I'll cut him much more slack than AD. AD is in his prime and should be beasting every night. Lebron is just a freak of nature. Never seen anyone like him. He may not be the greatest of all time yet (that's Kareem for me) but he's getting close. Definitely in the conversation.

It’s the defense that we’re complaining about. Well, that and everyone gets on ad for settling for jumpers (despite him leading the league in paint points) when lebron is kind of living and dying by them.

I think he's getting close to where he was before ankle injury, IMO.

It's coming. Let's hope no more setbacks and we could start stringing some games together and going for that fourth seed.

At the very least, let's give ourselves a punchers chance.

Lebron has looked awesome physically the last two games.

btw has anyone seen Lebron's midrange splits? They're really high for him.

2016 Cavs not caring about the regular season in the (L)eastern Conference

This kind of reminds me of being a college student, you don't really care until literally the night before the test or when a paper is due or finals week. Sure a few times I've gotten away with it and gotten an A+ but there has been times where it didn't.

I'm not sure if Lebron's teams can do that out in the West and just not care in the regular season

The thing is that team was really good and everyone knew it. It was a typical title front runner and of course you had an all time team in GS on the other side.
This Lakers team I don't think anyone has a clue how good or frankly bad they are.

Unbelievable for nearly two decades Lebron and whoever gets you a finals contender.
