isn't there some beef between them? can't remember the context. did kareem have an issue with lebron regarding china or something? i can't remember. but kareem is all about social justice, and i think lebron is...mostly about social justice, but not enough for kareem?

kareem's a difficult character, i think, and he's also probably not wrong about lebron.

 

I think it was the covid vaccine. Lebron came out with the stance that he'll do his on research on it while Kareem wanted him to take a pro-vaccine stance considering his influence on the general population.

 

Kareem has been an a****** for a very long time. Getting into people's business while telling others to stay out of his.

He still looks incredible physically when he’s fresh. In the 4th quarter he needs to always check in at around the 6th minute mark so he has energy down the stretch. Stamina will be his biggest issue as he ages.

LeBron James has long positioned himself as a leading voice in the NBA’s fight against racial and social injustice, but on Sunday, one of the basketball’s greatest legends sharply criticized the Lakers superstar, saying James should be “embarrassed” by “some of the things he’s done.”

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, the NBA’s all-time leading scorer, did not specify what issues he was referring to, but he has been an occasional critic of James’ messaging.

“Some of the great things that he’s done, he’s standing on both sides of the fence almost,” Abdul-Jabbar told reporters on Sunday at Crypto.com Arena. “It makes it hard for me to accept that when he’s committed himself to a different take on everything. It’s hard to figure out where he’s standing. You’ve got to check him out every time.”

Earlier this year, Abdul-Jabbar wrotethat a meme James shared equating COVID-19 to the common cold and the flu was “a blow to his worthy legacy.” He also criticized James for the “big balls” dance earlier this season that earned the Laker a $15,000 fine and for not supporting a vaccine mandate in the NBA.

Abdul-Jabbar spoke at the unveiling of the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Social Champion Trophy, an award that was first given last year to Carmelo Anthony when he was a member of the Portland Trail Blazers….

Lebron has chosen not to acknowledge Kareem in just about every way possible. Some of Kareem’s opinions have a huge uninformed political slant to them, and he has lost the respect of a lot of people. He used to do his own research on topics vs be a sheep. He disappoints.

Lebron, for all his faults, is smart enough to know there is zero benefit to saying anything about Kareem or to Kareem in these situations. He’ll never be the GOAT to NBA players like Kareem since he had too many ball shrinking moments and has cheating compilations on YouTube. (Flopping is cheating, and you’ll never see another GOAT with one ever)
