He’s figured it out. Understands the angles better now, is quick and more athletic than he’s ever been been as a pro .... entering his prime physically. He plays like 6’ 9” or 6’ 10” out there around the basket rather than the 6’8” he’s listed at and he “seems” to really enjoy out rebounding others with those attributes and working harder. Kuz has made a huge leap this year all around and is finally playing like that 3rd star everyone wanted him to be.
That was a beautiful game from Kuz. He has finally started to look comfortable again, like he knows his role and is liking it. Making shots, yes, but also the sweet passing, defense and rebounding. His deal is indeed looking like a good one for both sides.

His man to man is catching up with his new rebounding prowess. That sequence he stayed in front of Curry doing his best to juke his way past him was something.
Kuz and Trez are so good... we really need them to perform like this on both ends of the floor until AD comes back - and beyond. It's beautiful to watch. And what a contract value with got with Kuz!
Yeah..I’m not even sure why this guy made this video, if he’s trying to clown on Kuz he failed, he stayed with Curry every step of the way. A whole lot of dribbling for a whole lot of nothing.
I think they were just trying to point out how hilarious Curry’s over dribbling looked ... but yeah even in a clarifying tweet they still understate how good Kuz’s defense was. Which fortunately, I think is becoming rarer. Seems more people across the NBA landscape are catching on to how great Kuz has been on both sides of the ball.
Said it before and will say it again... Kuz is the Lakers third best player after LeBron and AD when he plays like this. The past 15 games, he's averaging 15/10 with 3 offensive rebounds per game and high level defense. I remember games where Kuz would screw up and have 2-3 dumb fouls in a game. Teams would target him and now, I'm hoping they try. He seems so much quicker with his feet and his positioning is perfect. No longer bites for every pump fake as well. The Lakers just banked in another huge steal with Kuz... This is easily the best Kuz has looked his entire career. His rebounding, passing, defense, and shooting have all improved.
Started the year defending, added rebounding to his game and now he's playmaking. He's balling off the bench or starting at guard AND forward. This guy deserves a ton of credit.
Kuz vs Ingram and the Eagle vs Lonzo when they’re matched defensively next time we play NO will fun to watch ..... since Kyle’s man to man has taken this Eagle like bump up in effectiveness and those guys are balling. Bodes well too for throwing him also at Snake and Paula. Who knew .... seriously?
