    Our USA national team is getting blown out by a bunch of scrubs. Do they all stink too? It’s a two way deal that has little risk but could be high return. If it doesn’t work it’s no big deal.

    Not sure if I made my intentions clear with my last post, but let's try it again...

    If our primary motive for Kostas is Giannis...then it's a ridiculous way to use a potential roster spot (even for 45 days) when we clearly have a need for either frontline help or playmaker help to minimize usage for Bron.

    If Kostas can get minutes, it's a good way to use our 2way slot. If it's for some 2021plan, it's a ridiculous use of that slot.

    I just had these thoughts in the Boogie thread trying to think since it happened what any of our options might be. So am deleting it there and asking here.


    So we have Phil Handy and Penberthy and a fine coaching staff. Plus s.o.t.a. training facility and professionals overseeing that. What would it take simply for Kostas to advance his game enough talent wise to give us decent minutes there with the things we need he seems to do in a raw manner already ..... and eat up minutes against opposing benches?
    Leaving the 2 way contract status out of it. Looked at like potentially another nice Kuzma like bang for the buck addition to our team. He has all this summer to really prepare physically.

    I think he's incredibly athletic and has the start of handles and is excellently coordinated for a young guy his size. With a frame he too can put muscle on.

    Just needs to learn to read defenses to throw down dunks when LeBron and AD are doubled. That and some defense and he is good. Make a shot or two a bonus.

    It was a surprise to see that Bucks didn't signed him. As they did with Thanasis.

    Not sure how well he'll do here. But as someone said above, if he was really good Mavs wouldn't let him go, and that's true. But you never know. He might actually become a decent player.

    That's being said, I'm happy with it. May even have a impact on Greek Freak's decision if he will ever leave Bucks. :Brows:
