Maybe that helped his trade value .00002%. Trade him now! Before he strings together another run of abysmal failures.

I prefer to think those abysmal failures are not the measure of who he is as a player for whatever reason that stretch happened. He seems to be turning it around. I hope cause he has talent when the shots are dropping. And yep sure would help in a trade if we can use him to get Bev out of here for a much better player from both of their salaries.

So what's the deal, Nunn didn't take the season seriously until Bryant and Dennis got back?

    Sell high.

Looks to me that he’s getting his confidence back.

What happens is sports fans (Lakers fans especially) are extremely emotional and reactive. So Nunn had a terrible run, but he isn’t that bad. And hopefully he gets to show it throughout the season because he is a good player.

my issue is that his defense has been terrible throughout, dating back to last preseason. i'd rather have schroder/reaves/walker playing as much guard minutes as possible, tbh. nunn's good injury insurance, but if he and bevs can be moved for an impact player, let 'er rip.

I’d trade his bone bruised body as soon as I could. Between him and Bev we could get back an actual NBA player

doesn't help charlotte much. nunn/bevs for rozier gets his long-term salary off their books. and he's having a bad year (inefficient 20ppg, bad shooting). maybe we can buy low. do that with no picks outgoing.

Would you do Russ and 1st rounder for Hayward and Rozier and than move nunn/bevs for Turner and another 1st rounder. Both 1st rounder are gone but that is a lot of talent coming in Turner/Hayward/Rozier and losing only Brick's inconsistent play? West seems wide open to me and that would be a beast of a frontcourt with AD/Bryant/Wenyen/Turner. Hayward is a true wing and Rozier for all his faults can at least shoot and can be brought in as a sixth man type.

i don't like giving up a pick while taking hayward's salary. it would have to be heavily protected at best.

i've said all along i'd give up one first for turner. it was just the second 1st for hield and his salary that i didn't like.

i think we need to be very clear that in taking on salary, we're doing other teams a favor. if we were a s***ty small market team, we'd be charging 1sts for cap space rental on a hayward deal, imo.

We should stand pat on any wing acquisitions IMO. I don't see this glaring need for another wing player TBH. I don't think there is any wing player currently on the market worth a FRP either. The best move to me, remains moving Bev, Jones and maybe Nunn for Turner. That would clear up some redundancy on the roster, while adding a significant defensive upgrade at 5 next to AD.

The way I see Nunn is he is just getting his playing legs under him. His shots were dreadfully short for quite a few games. I'm not opposed to trading him but since he is playing better we should give him some time to up his value a bit more. If he starts nailing those threes though that could help us.

Useless. I'd rather have Christie playing. Really. All of Nunn + Shroeder + Bev minutes should be redistributed between AR (most) + Christie (second most) + Shroeder (situational).

Feel like he’s gradually been shaking off the rust. Unlike Pat Bev, I can realistically see Nunn increase his trade value the more he plays and starts to develop some rhythm.
