Give him a suit and tie next year. Move Hollins into Kidd's chair, give Handy a raise to fend of the Nets, and give Duds a chair.

I like his veteran leadership, but players like THT, Cacok, and Kostas need some burn. If he wants to join the coaching staff or front office that'd be cool.
Give him a player dev coach role if he wants it but do not waste a roster spot on him. He's beyond done.
Listened to the podcast yesterday and that was a great listen. Definitely worth the hour. I've listened to a lot of his interviews before, but that's the longest I've heard him speak before. He really knows his stuff. You can tell to a degree from his short interviews and his twitter, but in this long form interview... he can pick what he wants to do after this. Broadcasting, coaching, or front office work. He's mentioned he's more interested in the latter two. I know he wants to come back as a player, I don't think he's worth that. BUT I would 100% offer him a development coach/ front office role. Double dip I bit. Could probably pay him more that way too. He sounds more suited for the front office, he knows more about contracts and rosters than most (restyled some stuff off in the podcast). But he has a vet eye for on the court as well, so ultimately I'd like him on or behind the bench during games.
Joe Smith got the T-Wolves in trouble by receiving money under the table beyond his contract, Dudley should do the exact opposite and return 80% of the vet minimum if he wants to resignudleyshrug:<---such a lazy gif work @sirronstuff Baylor's number, really?
I'm all for bringing Duds back. We're probably going to lose Rondo, and that's a big loss, but Duds was a big contributor to the culture of the team. Team culture was one of the big reasons we won this year. I know a lot of you don't want to use a roster spot for him, but realistically, the 15th man won't be playing anyway, and the kids will mostly be developing, playing in the G league, so it's not like we'll be losing the spot of a contributor by giving him the 15th roster spot. Keep Dudley!
Yeah, I agree. Last spot never plays anyway. The thing about keeping Dudz on the active roster is that in ANY emergency situation he can come in and do the job. He's smart, tough and can still hit a 3ball.
As far as I am concerned Dudley is the last guy on the bench and doesn't really play. He is useful in practice, has great locker room presence, good mentor for young players... I don't see any cons to bringing him back. Team chemistry and culture are extremely important on any team, especially if that team has championship aspirations. Might as well groom him to be one of the coaches in a couple of years. If we really need that spot, it's possible to cut him when the time comes and I'm sure he'd understand. Having a guy like that on the roster can be very good, as long as you don't rely on him to play. We know it, the management knows it and if he is going to be 100% honest - he knows it as well.
