This team's 3rd star is the role players. Each one seems to Ariza themselves at the right time during games to steal momentum or help set up Lebron or AD to seal the wins. If they gelled this early, they are gonna be a juggernaut by playoff time.
Looks like he's given away two sets to the Hawks game last I checked. I'm the one who will be buying his 3 month old a Jared Dudley jersey for christmas.
Appreciate it. Regarding the game... It was a great experience. You go to the "players tickets" line at will call. He gave us damn good seats, section 101, 11 rows up, next to the Lakers tunnel. Sloppiness and ugly W aside, this group really enjoys their time together. On the court, on the bench, in the huddles; they very supportive of each other. You can tell from TV, but more so in person. Also, I've never seen someone do as much stretching as Dudley. If he's not in the game, every timeout he's stretching. Sometimes by himself, sometimes with bands or the training staff. I don't know if there was some unusual tightness he was working through or if that's his game ritual to stay loose. Then after the win, I get DM from Dudley asking me to post a pic of us at the game. Which I was happy to do, just took a little longer after fighting atlanta traffic, having to pick up the baby from the grandparents, and then get back home.
I have a feeling Dudz is going to go OFF because he's going to have the green light and he's gonna be playin very freely tonight
This guy should be a human victory cigar, not a starter (no matter, how many injuries we have at any given moment).
Dudley was awesome for us! With our centers and AD out of the game late in the 3rd and 4th, Jared Dudley was our 'big man' out there and did as wonderful of a job that you can expect from him. I rarely see Dudley make a bad play.. always the correct play. Doesn't shoot shots he can't make, correct passes, screens, hustle. Worth every penny.
