Love Woj's extra extra on that tweet to go with his reporting of the details and facts. Wonder who he's sucking up to now. But thats journalism in 2020 these days

Hmmm. Well on paper he does fit pretty well. I prefer trading Green and Kuz for DeRozan but sounds like this is more likely to happen.

OKC might leverage Green at the 2021 trade deadline too. They got so many picks already.

Would be interesting to see who the Lakers sign as a FA to replace Green.

Its not like Green was a good defender for us, he might not have been even average.

I’m fine with the trade. Need to lock down some shooters though either FA’s or our own.

Have a feeling Lakers might be banking on Kuzma to step up on a contract year. If they can re-sign Bradley and KCP, we might be OK in the backcourt. Perimeter rotation might look like Schroeder/Caruso/KCP/Bradley/Kuzma/THT

    Possible wing options?

I'll type this very clearly: "if" the deal is just Green and the 28th pick going out for Dennis, that is a good deal.

My question is: Is Rondo coming back?

funny how as soon as the lakers decide to move green, he's good again.

had this trade been announced to a daryl morey-run team not named the lakers, people would be like: zomgowned!

i was one who thought green was a useful player (until the playoffs) for us last year, and we will have to find ways to continue being a great team defense without him. i think that can happen, though, and i think we were unlikely to get what schroeder can do via FA. we might be able to get a good team defender who can shoot 35% from three in FA, though.

Advance stats, hahaha, man, we know what we saw. Stick those ANALytics up your butt. Danny Green got worse in each round. Let it go. This trade is fantastic.

And for the idiots who think Rob still doesn't know what the salary cap is:

Lakers are about to add two huge impactful players this off season. Better be ready...

The trade is basically done. Now we need Gallo and/or DD and we're ready to compete for another title. Here's what Derozan said yesterday:

“For me it’s just I’ve learned being in the league so long that you always want to be wanted. So when you see things about teams wanting you, you can’t feel a certain type of way. You’d better feel good about it because there’s some motherf****** that’s not wanted. You don’t want to be that person. So to be wanted by a championship team that just came off a championship, to see that, how could you not feel some type of way? Especially me, being from L.A., it’s like ‘damn, my hometown team want me? They just came off a championship and they want me?’ It’s definitely crazy to be able to see that.”

How's Dennis on D? He's on the smaller side, no?

I don’t think DD is in play any longer with this trade Karacha. Do you mean Gallo or Ibaka in FA? I think those should be and are the top targets. I would love either one but would prefer Ibaka just because he could be our stretch 5.
